" Did you really have to kill him?" Masterson asked sounding a little bothered at the death of William.

Materson's thoughts were that since they had already gotten what they had wanted killing William would have just been an act of senseless violence, something he didn't enjoy partaking in.

" I told you before, and I will tell you again, I don't like the act of killing itself; I killed him because it was a mercy kill more than anything else." Achilles responded to Masterson as he felt Materson was accusing him of killing people without reason.

" How is that a mercy kill at all?"

" Without his legs, he has no means of defending himself. When people find out about his current state he would no doubt be hunted and killed. Either by pirates, marines, or even bounty hunters."

" I gave him a death where his pride and reputation weren't trampled on." Achilles answered making Masterson start thinking about what Achilles had just said to him.

" I'm pretty sure William wanted to die as well."

" He even said it himself, a captain without his crew has no purpose. When Achilles killed him he gave him a somewhat dignified death, something that Pirates yearn for, but rarely ever manage to get." Bullet said to Masterson while Achilles handed the sword back to Marco.

" By the way, have you guys gone through the rubble of the fallen castle? There should be some valuable treasures buried beneath it." Achilles suddenly asked looking at Marco and Masterson.

" We didn't really have the time to explore the island with you guys knocked out," Marco said answering Achilles' question.

" Well guess what we are doing today." Achilles spoke to everyone as he wanted to grab the two devil fruits on the island.

" Explore the island?" Marco said in a deadpan voice.

" Ding, ding, you guessed it right."

" Oh before we forget, Masterson get William's body and depose of it would you?" Achilles asked, or rather ordered the marksman.

Achilles asked him for multiple reasons. For one, he and Bullet can't carry anything right now. Second, he's not going to have an eight-year-old carry a dead body, and have him dispose of it. And third, this way he can make Masterson slowly get used to the brutal lifestyle of pirates.

' I really want to give him a proper burial but from all the stuff I heard about him, I don't think he deserves one.'

Achilles thought to himself walking out of the room with the crew, while Masterson carried the deceased William's corpse.

[ 10 Minutes Later ]

" Guys, I found it." Achilles shouted standing next to what seemed to be an entrance some kind of a hidden layer underneath the castle. The entrance was pretty small and had a metal door over it in the shape of a circle.

The crew started searching the island after they had disposed of William's body in the ocean. The crew also made a giant symbol of their jolly roger to show they, the Spade Pirates were the ones to defeat the Helix Pirates.

" Huh, so he really did have a hidden layer," Marco muttered after walking to the entrance along with everyone else.

" Well let's go." Achilles said as he started climbing down the ladder with everyone else following in tow.

[ 4 Minutes Later ]

" Honestly didn't think he was this stacked," Bullet said in wonder looking at the rows of gold bars all shelf nicely in 10 rows inside a giant vault.

The ladder didn't lead to anything amazing, but instead a medium-sized room where there was a giant vault in the middle. Inside the vault were golds, diamonds, and just stacks of money. No weapons as it seemed like the vault was only being used for valuable assets

" Two devil fruits as well." Marco grabbed them and showed them to everyone else. One of them was in the shape of a circle being grayish with a single leaf on its steam. There were a couple of swirls around the fruit as well.

The second fruit was in the shape of a cucumber and had bright yellow swirls all over it looking almost as if it had two eyes and its stem looked like it had its skin shaved off.

" Let me see." Achilles asked before the two fruits were handed over to him. The moment he touched them, the types and the names of the devil fruits appeared in his head.

[ Paramecia: Smell Smell Fruit ]

' I don't even know what to do with those two fruits.' Achilles thought to himself as he handed the fruits back to Marco; he told him he would check out the devil fruits and their classing out later with the devil fruit encyclopedia.

While Achilles and Marco were talking, Masterson was helping Bullet gather up all the gold and diamonds so Bullet could merge them into one huge bar of gold, and one huge diamond. This would make them far easier to carry allowing them to transport them to their ship.

" Looks like we're about to be rich again." Achilles spoke with thinly veiled excitement. No matter how many times he saw these riches they would never fail to give him a bout of excitement, mainly because he knew he would have no hope of ever seeing them in his previous life.

[ 2 Days Later ]

[ Location: Palm Island ]

" Welcome to my humble clinic." A bald middle-aged man wearing a doctor's clock said as 4 cloaked people entered the building. These four people comprised the entirety of the current Spade Pirates.

"It's been a while since I last saw you, Dr. John." Achilles said taking off his cloak with everyone else. They decided to wear the cloaks to hide the fact two most important members were injured from the public. As then they would everyone chasing after them.

Achilles had met Dr.John back when he was a bounty hunter. He got a nasty scar from fighting some pirates and decide to come to Palm island to have a doctor tend to his wound. That's where he met Dr.John.

John was a capable doctor, one that Achilles trusted a decent amount. So now that he was injured quite badly he decided to come to him to get his wounds tended to.

" What brings you and your crew here?" Dr. John asked, curiously watching the pirates sit down at some of the chairs in his office.

" To give a watered-down version of the story, we got into a fight with another pirate crew. We were able to wipe them out but in the process, my first mate and I received some nasty injuries." Achilles spoke as he and Bullet revealed their injuries to the man.

" That looks quite bad. And the stitches aren't even done properly." Dr.John said looking at Bullet and Achilles' wounds.

He didn't ask them to elaborate on the injuries and how they got them, mainly because he knew there were some things that were better left unsaid, especially in his profession.

Masterson whistled looking guilty when the doctor commoned on the terrible job he did.

" Your wound seems to be mostly fine, it looks like someone magically healed most parts of it, but just left the cuts deep in your shoulder unchecked."

"It's gonna take a while but I'm going to take out your two stitches and take a closer look at the wound itself."

Dr. John then proceeded than proceeded to what he said with both Achilles and Bullet. As Dr. John was doing his thing, Marco looked at what Dr. John was doing taking notes of each step and the process.

" Kid, you plan on becoming a doctor?" Dr. John asked Marco, curious why an 8-year-old was so focused on what he's doing. To the crew's surprise, Marco said yes to the doctor.

' When did Marco want to become a doctor?' Achilles asked himself, sure that Marco never said anything about becoming a doctor in the past. But Achilles quickly realized what changed making him smile a little.

" Well, I don't mind you teaching a thing or two depending on how long your Captain plans on staying on the island."

" Marco don't worry, we'll stay on the island for at least a week until we get our full strength back." Achilles said to Marco knowing what the kid was gonna ask.

[ 3 Hours Later ]

" And we are done." Dr.John said putting the last sitch on Bullet's back. Achilles part was done about an hour ago. Bullet just take the longest since his wound was bigger and nearly reached his spin.

" Bullet, your one lucky man. Had the attack gotten a bit deeper, it would have destroyed your spine." Dr. John finally finished stitching up Bullet's back properly this time.

" I closed up most of the cut tissues I could reach in your back. Other than you should be fine. But I still suggest don't move around your body too much."

" And the same goes for you too, Achilles." Dr. John spoke, strongly recommending them to follow his advice.

" Fine, we'll listen to you. Not long like we are going to do anything until we healed up fully. Anyway guys, go do whatever you want."

" Bullet you're staying with me within the clinic, take a good rest. God knows you need one." Achilles said to his crew slowly feeling asleep from how tired he was. Bullet slowly did the same as well since his back was hurting like a bitch.

" Well, then Marco why don't you tell me what you know about medicine?" Dr.John asked Marco. As those two were talking, Masterson decided to go explore the island since he had never been here before. And is one of the most popular islands in the North Blue and the most visited as well.

" Guess I'm alone now," Masterson muttered to himself in a bitter tone before he came across a gun store filled to the brim with different types of guns.

" Well guess I know what I'm doing," Masterson said walking into the store excited.
