09 Meeting Sengoku, Tom Cat?

After witnessing the battle, everyone had the same thought: "This kid is terrifying!"

He defeated two opponents with force, then later persuaded the two others, showing not just his strength but also his character for all to see.

After a brief silence, the crowd erupted into thunderous cheers, celebrating Lynch's victory.

At some point, Momousagi and Tokikake slipped away from the scene.

After his victory, Lynch didn't leave. Instead, he used the quadruple body-building scroll (a week's worth) as a guide to refine his physique.

He spent the morning exercising, broke for lunch at noon, attended elite camp classes in the afternoon, and engaged in special training with Teacher Zephyr in the evening.

It's worth noting that since the last incident with the pirates, Smoker had become less thorny and more dedicated to his work.

The next day arrived in the blink of an eye.

Outside the Marine dormitory, a plump beauty approached.

"Boss Lynch, Sister Hina is here to see you."

Since defeating the four who came to provoke him, Lynch noticed a change in the attitudes of those around him, even in the way his roommates call him.

Hina heard about yesterday's events early in the morning and came to offer her apologies.

Lynch's hair was still wet from washing, and he casually dried it with a towel. He appeared a bit more handsome than usual. Hina's eyes sparkled as she saw him

"Besides, if you're apologizing, I should apologize to you too. After all, I did something pretty outrageous to you."

Meeting Lynch's gaze and recalling that day's events, Hina felt a blush creep up her cheeks and shyly looked away.

"Don't worry about it, Hina don't take it to heart."

"Didn't you take it to heart??" Lynch raised an eyebrow.

"No... that's not what Hina meant." Hina's face flushed with embarrassment. Clearly, this emotional matter was unfamiliar territory for her.

After a long conversation, Hina spoke earnestly: "You saved Hina's life, so please don't use such harsh words again."

Seeing the embarrassment on the slim and graceful Miss Marine in front of him, Lynch couldn't help but find her adorable. He decided to stop teasing her for now, but knew he would probably tease her again later.

"Haha, no more teasing, I get it."

"Ugh, gross," Hina scowled at Lynch, part annoyed, part angry.

"Since you're not mad, can Hina ask you something?"

"Go ahead."

"What does 'dog licking' mean?" Hina asked hesitantly. 

"Today, some people from our elite camp came and told Hina they were not gonna be Hina 'licking dog' anymore."

There's another sentence that they didn't say because Miss Hina is the woman Lynch likes.

Lynch immediately recognized Joseph's guys when he heard about it. He fought back a smile and asked, "Do you want the truth or a lie?"

"What's the truth, and what's the lie?"

"The truth is..."

He explained the meaning behind "licking the dog," but Hina just rolled her eyes, which was quite annoying.

"You're so mean, I thought you were actually saying something nice~"

"Hahahaha~" Lynch chuckled.

The friends in the same dormitory felt envious when they heard the laughter outside the door.

Not only is Brother Lynch very powerful, he's also good at charming the ladies.

After breakfast with Hina, Lynch encountered an unexpected individual when he returned to the dormitory to retrieve his belongings.

Fleet Admiral Sengoku!

Buddha Sengoku, a close friend of Garp, stands for justice in the world. He later devised the plan to take down the Whitebeard Pirates, one of the Four Emperors.

"Fleet Admiral Sengoku." Lynch quickly saluted with a military salute.

Facing the unfamiliar Marine's greeting, Sengoku simply smiled.

Everyone knows that although Sengoku isn't the Fleet Admiral yet, the current Fleet Admiral Kong has designated him as his successor.

Furthermore, Kong has now delegated all official duties of Fleet Admiral of the Marines to Sengoku and spends his days lying in the sun.

Once Kong steps down and hands over the reins, Sengoku will become the true Fleet Admiral.

Initially, Sengoku would shyly correct others, saying he wasn't Fleet Admiral yet. But after being called that so many times, he stopped bothering to correct them.

"Are you... Lynch?"

The more Sengoku looked at the Marine, the more familiar he seemed, and suddenly, it clicked.

The night Lynch followed Zephyr to eliminate the pirates, information about him, Hina, and Smoker was already on Sengoku's desk.

The following day, he had a talk with his old friend Zephyr and discussed Lynch. He remembered Zephyr giving him a high evaluation at the time.

Over time, Sengoku recalled Lynch.

This young man looks even more handsome in person than in the photo.

"Master Sengoku, do you know me?" Lynch asked, looking flattered.

"Of course I recognize you. You're our Marine's genious. Keep working hard and protecting our Justice and its people in the future."

Sengoku's words were encouraging, but he couldn't help but think that if Zephyr spoke so highly of someone, maybe he should try to get in touch with him.

There are different factions within the Marines, like hawks, doves, and neutrals 

"If I remember correctly, you were working on a farm before joining the Marines, right? You must be good at shearing sheep."

"Yes, Fleet Admiral." Lynch was puzzled by Sengoku's sudden request.

"If you could, I'd like to ask you to shear my pet sheep. Its hair has gotten too long."

As if afraid Lynch might misunderstand, Sengoku added, "This sheep involves confidentiality. It's best to have someone you trust to cut his hair."

When he mentions confidentiality, does he mean he feeds every document to the goat directly? That goat must be quite ink-filled physically.

Lynch complained in his heart, but said respectfully: "It's an honor for the Fleet Admiral to trust me, and I'm happy to help."

Sengoku gazed at Lynch with satisfaction. This kid truly had a righteous heart, wasn't arrogant or rash, and showed great promise.

Suddenly, the system sound rang out.

[A new life choice has been unlocked.]

[Task 1: Trim the goat normally. Reward: 500 points.]

[Task 2: Cut the goat into a stylish and stunning image. Reward: Swordsmanship Experience Book.]

[Task 3: Shave the goat into a Mediterranean style. Reward: Companion Tom the Cat.]

Seeing the mission and rewards, Lynch was stunned.

Could this system really create living creatures?!

When Sengoku noticed Lynch's silence, he thought perhaps Lynch had changed his mind. It was understandable; after all, young people often have high aspirations, and shearing sheep is usually left to servants.

"It's okay if you don't want to, I can find someone else to help," Sengoku said.

But just as he was about to go away, Lynch grabbed Sengoku's hand excitedly. 

"No, Fleet Admiral, since it involves secrets, let me do this sacred task!"

Sengoku: "..."

Sengoku remained silent, unsure of how to respond.

Why is this kid so excited all of a sudden?

Sengoku led Lynch to the Fleet Admiral's office, pointing to the goat beside the table. "There's the goat. The tools are in the box. Don't touch the documents on the table. I'll be out for a while."
