The Blackbeard Pirates slowly spread the word that they had captured Luffy, and soon the Revolutionary Army got wind of it.

At the Revolutionary Army headquarters, Monkey D. Dragon was in a meeting with some members to discuss plans when he received a call.

"Boss, we got word from Conch Town that Luffy's been nabbed by Blackbeard's crew."

"Hmm, just wait for my command."

"Got it!"

Upon hearing the news, Dragon didn't show surprise or panic for the first time; instead, he remained remarkably composed.

"Boss, what's going on?" 

After the call, Sabo, who was present at the meeting immediately asked.

"Luffy got caught by Blackbeard"

Dragon replied.

"What! Luffy got captured?"

Sabo exclaimed. Upon hearing the news, he immediately felt uneasy.

Since parting ways with Ace and Luffy, Sabo has always missed seeing their presence.

Not long ago, he got the news of Ace's death, and it deeply affected Sabo.

Now, with Luffy also captured by Blackbeard, Sabo couldn't help but worry.

"Where did it happen? Why did Blackbeard arrest Luffy?" 

Koala, a Revolutionary Army officer, asked with concern.

So Sabo and Koala immediately set off.

Remarked a Revolutionary Army member, watching Sabo depart, feeling a bit concerned.

"Trust him, he's the Chief of Staff of our Revolutionary Army"

Dragon said confidently.

"Well, let's hope they can safely rescue Luffy" 

They nodded in agreement.

After leaving the Revolutionary Army headquarters, Sabo and Koala headed straight for Conch Town, reaching the destination as fast as they could.

Sure enough, when they arrived, Sabo discovered that the local newspapers were filled with news about Luffy being captured by Blackbeard.

Sabo calmly analyzed the situation, and Koala agreed with his assessment.

"So, what's our next move, Sabo?" Koala asked once more.

"Now, I think someone might have noticed us. Let's find a place to stay and wait for someone to get in touch with us."

Sabo is confident in his analysis. He believes that if someone intentionally leaked the news, the purpose is likely to attract individuals with a deep connection to Luffy.

Currently, besides the Revolutionary Army, Sabo can't think of any other groups that the other party might want to draw in.

Furthermore, as of now, the Blackbeard Pirates are Sabo's prime suspects.

"Alright, let's go." 

Sabo and Koala quickly located an inn and settled in.

By nightfall, all relevant information from the outside was withdrawn. 

In the room, Sabo carefully observed the surroundings, and soon, he heard some sounds.

"Be careful, someone's approaching," 

Sabo quickly warned Koala.

Koala perked up immediately, becoming alert alongside Sabo.

Outside the room, a figure silently emerged. Just as they were about to push the door open...

Sabo's hand formed three fingers like a dragon's claw, covered in Armament Haki.

In the next instant, Sabo's dragon claws choked the man's throat directly.

"Ah, forgive me, forgive me!" 

The man yelled immediately, completely startled by Sabo's sudden attack.

"Who are you, and why are you here?" 

Sabo asked coldly, not releasing his dragon claws.

"Sorry, you're Chief of Staff Sabo from the Revolutionary Army, right? I came to find you specifically. I'm a ordinary crew member of the Blackbeard Pirates," 

The man said tremblingly. He emphasized that he wasn't a member of the Blackbeard ship, just an ordinary crew member.

"Oh? So, what does Blackbeard want with me?" 

Sabo immediately wore a puzzled expression, realizing that things were indeed as he suspected. It seemed the entire incident was likely orchestrated and executed by Blackbeard.

Perhaps Luffy wasn't captured by Blackbeard at all; it might be a ploy to lure out the Revolutionary Army. Otherwise, why would Blackbeard know their location as soon as they showed up?

Wasn't this all planned and waiting? However, pondering this, Sabo still couldn't understand Blackbeard's scheme.

However, he can rest assured that Luffy won't be in immediate danger. Even if Blackbeard truly has Luffy, since he aims to lure out the Revolutionary Army, he undoubtedly has a plan and won't harm Luffy.
