Title - Another God's POV

*God-King*

That's a title I have long forgotten when they started calling me that.

I think…for a moment it was grand at first but as time passed, it got bleak sounding. The King of Gods. As I fought, I felt the difference. I was superior. I killed better, I fought better, I talked better. I…was better.

No matter how much they tried, they couldn't meet up with my count.

I think…it was around that time that I started having similar feelings to the other Realms that bordered ours. I began a conquest…conquering the Realms became a goal.

I achieved it…at great cost…but I achieved it. I didn't manage to conquer one, but I'm glad I didn't.

That God that managed to calm me and stave off my anger…Hadn't he done that…perhaps I would've remained arrogant. Thinking I was that Good. Thinking I was the strongest. Thinking I was It All.

He looked like someone with quite a lot of layers covering up other layers all hiding his real Intentions.

I remain thankful for the Wisdom I had gotten alongside my knowledge of Runes. Had I not done that, I fear I would've sold my Realm without knowing how.

I wonder what he's been up to lately. Despite our common playground being under threat so many times, he and his realm didn't move. For some reason, his excuses were all well founded and fruitful to me in one way or the other.

Like one time when our playground was under the threat of some rebellious popsicles, he'd just shrugged and said. "Just add a little heat to the mix, who knows, perhaps you'll find a fortune, I have a human to reward."

I don't know if to say…he's one of the busiest and diligent Gods. To think he's always ready to respond to the demands of those humans. I only rarely reward them if I'm free enough to do so. Who would have thought there was such a God..?

I can't, for the life of mine, forget the day he froze the time of the entire Solar system just because a human demanded it to be so. According to reports I got later on, the man that was Joshua called upon his name and stopped the cycle of the sun and moon just so he and his army could win a battle.

That wasn't all…however that was the event that left an Impression.

I couldn't boast of Manipulating the time of an entire Solar system but he did it just because he was asked.

Furthermore, there was this other time I had asked why he doesn't allow his son to hang around mine in the Omnipotence City when he had the time, and he said. "My son isn't free to hang around a bunch of miscreants."

The gall he had! To call my Children and their friends a bunch of Miscreants….

Hah. Why the hell am I evening thinking about that fucker!? Oh! That's right, the time frame for our usual meetings are drawing near. What new policies and intelligently unimaginable things would be proposed this time..?

"My Liege, you have a guest who says you have an appointment." Heimdall, my loyal servant and friend, sent over a sound transmission from his Bifrost post.

"The Audacity…I don't have any appointment." I replied a bit annoyed at the effrontery.

"Let him-" I was about to speak when an Oh So Familiar Boom resounded in my throne room, following which the very rascal I was just thinking about walked out of it looking all Porsche.

'Weird…don't tell me his naming ticks have rubbed off me.' I thought as I slammed my staff on the floor. "God of Heaven! You're quite brazen to act this way."

Characteristically of him, he waved nonchalantly at me and walked up to the stairs leading up to my Throne and sat down ungracefully. "My Goodness, you have no idea how much I've missed this feeling." He said as he sprawled himself on the floor as though it was his bed.

"You..! Have you no sense of decorum!?"

"What's that..?" He asked only to snort and stood up to face me. "Look what I made." he said and threw me a rectangular object that seemed to slide into my hands as soon as I got my fingers.

"What's this?"

"A prototype. Try tapping the screen." He said offhandedly and I swear by Ymir's Beard that I never meant to do it, however the smooth texture of the object was... tempting.

Shameful as it may be, the temptation was just instinctual, and what followed was. [Ding. PLEASE INPUT YOUR NAME AND FINGERPRINT TO REGISTER.]

"What sorcery is this?" I cried out but didn't let go of the talking smooth object. Turning my gaze to the intruder, I asked. "What is this you've given me?"

"That…as I've said, is a prototype. I'm thinking of something very brazen." he said, causing my face to involuntary frown. "I'm listening.."

Normal POV

Odin then gave Leucadius his rapt attention as Leucadius went on to explain how important the internet he was setting up for the Community of Gods was.

"Imagine," Leucadius began, his eyes gleaming with excitement, "a network that connects every deity, every celestial being, in one vast, cosmic web. A place where knowledge, power, and communication flow freely and instantly."

Odin, intrigued but skeptical, arched an eyebrow. "And what would be the purpose of such a network? We have managed our affairs well enough without such… innovations."

Leucadius smirked, as if expecting the question. "Efficiency, Odin. Efficiency."

He had already understood Odin's temperament. Odin was akin to those Heaven Blessed Young Masters who didn't know the suffering of those less privileged than they were.

To Odin, the passage of information was as swift as his last thought. Leucadius understood that. He too was able to pass on information from his realm in Heaven to a child on Earth.

Having such power, why would Odin see the need for such technology?

"Imagine the speed at which decisions could be made, the ease of sharing intelligence about threats, useful and useless information would be sifted through by those you trust and relayed to you, the ability to coordinate actions across realms without the delay of messengers or the risk of miscommunication."

Odin considered this and his wisdom came into play at the moment as he stroked his beard thoughtfully after analysing what Leucadius had said. "And how does this...Web of yours work? What ensures its security? Its reliability?"

He could see the importance of this. He was king after all and despite his nature, he still sought what was best for Asgard.

Leucadius straightened up, his expression turning serious. "The technology is based on advanced runic systems and algorithms bordering celestial technology."

Odin narrowed his gaze at the mention of Celestial Tech. but kept silent to allow Leucadius to finish.

"Each device, like the one I gave you, is attuned to its user's unique energy signature, ensuring privacy and security. The network is self-sustaining, drawing power from the ambient cosmic energies that permeate all realms."

The last part was a lie, but Leucadius felt that Odin didn't need to know the full details.

He gestured to the device in Odin's hand. "That prototype is just the beginning, however it has a couple additions that won't be added to the ones to be put up for sales in a few years. Tap into its potential, and you'll find a vast repository of knowledge."

Odin tapped the screen again, this time with more purpose. The device lit up, displaying the previous interface. Intrigued, Odin asked. "I should put in my name..?"

"Hmm. You could also put in a moniker."

"A moniker?" Odin shot his one good eye at Leucadius who shrugged and said. "Who knows what inscrutable things you'll have to use this device to do in the future. Isn't it better to keep your True identity a secret?"

Odin gave Leucadius a good look before nodding reluctantly. King he may be, but that didn't mean he didn't have any vices to speak of. "A King has no need to hide his identity, but as you've so insisted, I'll be using my title." He said and typed in - All-Father.

"Oh..? Last I checked, I was also an All-Father…"

"You know that's not true, you're called the Most High alongside many other titles… even The Almighty?" Odin snorted while muttering the last part to himself. He then turned the device to Leucadius. "What's this about a fingerprint?"

"Just pour in a bit of your energy to the tip of any finger and press it on the surface of the device." Leucadius said and pulled out another such device and directed. "Here."

"Oh." Odin said and did as instructed.

[REGISTERED.]

[USER: ALL-FATHER]

"Is that all?" Odin asked and Leucadius nodded, "Why don't you try browsing through it?"

"I was just about to do that." Odin scoffed and began surfing through the phone while Leucadius explained that his unique Subscriber Identity Module had already been printed using the energy of the Odin-Force he used while inputting his Fingerprint.

Leucadius, sensing Odin's growing fascination, added. "You haven't even seen the best of this. Here, put in this number and dial it. See that icon over there? Tap on it." Leucadius directed Odin towards the Video call option.

"Hmm." Odin hummed and did as directed only for the device in Leucadius' hand to make a weird noise.

"Kukuku, don't freak out alright?" Leucadius said and disappeared into a Portal that appeared behind him before Odin could even react. Just as Odin was about to curse at Leucadius, "Yo, look who's back!"

For the first time in his life, Odin truly felt grateful that no one accompanied him in his Throne room due to the fright he felt and how he threw the device to the wall, shattering it.

"Hahahaha." Leucadius' unbridled laughter rang out as a Portal opened up from which he walked out and walked towards the place the shattered Phone lay. "Who'd have thought that the great Odin was such a scaredy cat?"

Saying this, he stretched his hands towards the phone as a green coloured magic cycle appeared above his hands. Rotating his hand anti-clockwise, the time of the phone was reversed as it landed into his hand.

"You have to be careful with this. This is the only metal that can be used to build this device while considering so many God related factors." Leucadius said and threw the phone back to Odin.

Odin caught the device and looked at it for a few seconds in amazement. In the screen, he could see himself, however he was sure it wasn't as a result of him videoing himself, which could only mean, he was seeing exactly what Leucadius was showing him.

He then looked up from the device, a thoughtful expression on his face. "And what is your role in this, Leucadius? Why do you champion this cause? If I wanted to speak to you or anyone Visually, we can accomplish that without much effort."

Leucadius smiled, a hint of mischief in his eyes. "Because I believe in progress, Odin. I believe in the potential for us to be more than what we are. We Godkings have it too convenient, how about the rest?"

Odin paused for a moment before nodded slowly, recognizing the wisdom in Leucadius's words. "Very well. But why did you present this to me..?"

"What? I can't care for a friend anymore?" Leucadius shrugged his shoulders and walked towards the Portal that was still open since he came in while laughing at Odin's scared act. "Explore the phone as much as you want. It will come in handy in the next few centuries."

With that, Leucadius turned and began to leave, his form shimmering as he stepped through the portal he had created. Odin watched him go, the device still glowing in his hand.

As the portal closed, Odin looked out over his realm. Once again, he felt the loneliness of being a Godking. He never truly understood how Leucadius made the position seem so easygoing and remain carefree.

"My Liege..?" Heimdall's uneasy voice sounded, drawing back his attention to his Realm.

"At ease. It was just Leucadius." Odin said and sighed. Perhaps it was time to put down his pride and learn from this comrade of his…?

Suddenly thinking about it, he discovered they both had a lot of things in common. They both had a wayward child who now ruled an underworld Realm. They also had heirs that have left a remarkable influence on Earth…

"Nah. Neither Thor or Loki is as Influential as Yeshua…How did that guy even create such a movement..?" Odin muttered to himself and turned his attention back to the phone.

At least he now had something to use to kill his boredom.
