CHAPTER 26: BENIMARU'S VICTORY?

In a seemingly menacing battle between Tekashi and Benimaru in the background, Kyo and Lisa were having a heart to heart as brother and sister.

<Lisa, why do you move with him?>

Kyo asked with concern for his sister's wellbeing.

"According to him he has plans, he'll make our lives better, just join us Kyo"

<You know fully well that I can't do that, have an obligation to protect the people and not harm them like he's doing right now>

"Your teammate is also part of the destruction being caused"

Boom!!!

The roof of the hotel exploded once again and then debris started falling from up top.

Kyo held his sister and dragged her out of the way.

[FIRE TECHNIQUE: INCINERATION]

Kyo sent flames at the debris and turned all of it to ash.

Lisa was shocked at Kyo's new found strength, she then started to believe that if they had Kyo then their team would be invincible.

"Kyo please join us and Benimaru will bring the best out of your abilities, he's a fire user just like you"

<I know what he is but joining him would be against my principles>

"Don't you want to become strong enough to find out about the whereabouts of our parents?"

The words which his sister uttered had an immediate effect on him and got him thinking about what he needs to do.

<I still can't join you guys, what's so special about him anyway?, Why do move freely with him?>

"He's our older brother"

Kyo was in utter shock as he heard those words from her mouth, he looked at the guy who was well versed in using fire against Tekashi who is believed to be one of the strongest S-ranks.

<What do you mean brother?>

Kyo asked in shock.

"He was our father's son from his first marriage"

<So you mean our father had another wife aside mother?>

"Yes, that's what I mean"

<I still don't care, what he's doing endangers the world as we know it>

Kyo ran off with those words to aid the others in their fight against Benimaru.

[TIME TECHNIQUE: TIME STOP]

Tekashi used his technique to stop time and tried to bind Benimaru but the instant he did that he felt an intense heat around them and saw Benimaru move, the S-rank criminal was finally showing why he was well known.

"What did you do?"

'I burned your technique.'

Benimaru replied with a smirk and ran towards Tekashi he accelerated his movements and attacked with a kick which Liu Xhang blocked.

"The strongest Asian S-rank finally intervenes"

Benimaru was happy that he could show his strength against such formidable opponents and show the world that he was a force to be reckoned with.

[FIRE TECHNIQUE: HELL'S DOMAIN]

Benimaru was looking to pull out all the stops against them and was looking to end it once and for all. He expanded his domain around the entire area and was reducing the buildings to liquid, melting the materials used to build them.

Tekashi and the others covered themselves with qi and were able to block out the effects of the domain. Kyo, Rin and Ino were able to get most of the people to safety but a lot of them died as well.

Ino checked on the people they saved and contacted the authorities from the health department through their guide and translator to come to the aid of the citizens.

Kyo went into battle once again and went with a sword to Benimaru's neck, Benimaru didn't dodge but the sword was able to decapitate him.

"This shows your strength hasn't evolved yet but your speed is another matter and is a great asset to you"

Kyo was shocked that he couldn't cut off Benimaru's head and wondered why he wasn't able to, Tekashi took him out of there before Benimaru could attack him.

[MATTER TECHNIQUE: DISMANTLE]

Liu Xhang used his technique on Benimaru but his body just wouldn't just dissipate as he had gotten stronger and deadlier since he fought the two of them before.

"The both of you now stand in the presence of THE FIRE EMPEROR, none of your attacks can even dream to harm me, I've gone beyond what a humans like you can harm"

Benimaru was feeling overconfident and cocky as he felt that since he had gotten Mammon's immortality he could take on anyone even Lucifer and Satan.

'You talk too much.'

Benimaru heard a voice behind him and saw Liu Xhang decapitate him with a kick, his head rolled on the floor and was disintegrated. The next thing they knew his head regenerated and he was laughing in the most menacing manner.

"I told you guys before, you can't kill me"

[FIRE TECHNIQUE: INCINERATION]

Kyo unleashed his technique on Benimaru which clashed with his fire domain, Benimaru felt the strength of Kyo's technique and laughed.

"Hahahaha!!!, Interesting kid, your flames are as strong as mine, if you can hone them well you might become as strong as me"

"Join me kid and I'll show you how to control and use your powers to the fullest"

Kyo felt rage well up within him and charged at Benimaru and the latter did nothing but watch as it seemed Kyo rejected his offer, he shook his head disappointed.

Kyo drew his katana and imbued it with his qi, he went for Benimaru's legs but Benimaru on sensing the imminent danger was able to dodge just in time.

"That slash just now would have been able to cut off my legs, is this the kind of child that father wanted?"

Benimaru thought to himself as he was shocked at Kyo's potential and then he smiled.

Kyo immediately followed up the slash with a kick imbued with his flames which cut Benimaru in half but the latter just laughed it off as his immortality was absolute and he couldn't be killed unless Mammon or the higher demons wanted him dead.

<This is getting out of hand, I need to end their quickly>

Kyo thought on numerous ways to end this and didn't think of summoning Azazel's sword in just cause of the damage it'd cause in the real world as he had only used it in other worlds and the effects of the sword in those worlds were tragic and life threatening, he thought of other ways to resolve the issue without using the sword.

<Azazel, can I use any other technique besides fire?>

(That's a big ask, but if you want I can give you access to to that of darkness)

<Yes do it>

Kyo felt dark qi rush into him as Azazel granted him the power to control darkness.

(This is the power to control all darkness in all worlds that my Father created and you have infinite control over it, use it to your satisfaction, SINGULARITY OF HEAVEN AND HELL)

Azazel spoke to Kyo in such a way that Kyo was overwhelmed with the Fallen Angel's words.
