Chapter 6: The Queen's Verdict

The Knight wasn't sure who to believe, so he came to a conclusion. They would bring the whole matter before the Queen and let her decide. The half-man beast wasn't too pleased with this idea but he didn't have a choice in the matter.

La helps her girlfriend get up and says, "Zara you should really lose some weight. Lucky I have powers god knows what would have happened to me." Zara looks at her in surprise, a little taken aback by what La just said.

"Don't take it to heart, you know I mean well," La responds cheerily. Zara bites her lips so hard to stop herself from saying something rude back to La.

In the background, the Knight observes La.

"This Omega would make a fine wife for the Queen," he thinks to himself, "but that Alpha needs to be taken care of," he adds (referring to Zara). He plans to take it upon himself to do just that.

"Lets go," the Knight says. "We need to go meet the Queen."

He uses his telepathic magic to call a carriage to come pick them up.

The carriage arrives and La and Zara are stunned to see two unicorns pulling it. The Knight takes his seat in the driver's seat and tells the others to enter the carriage. The half-man beast follows his instructions, but La and Zara are still frozen in place for a brief moment, in awe of the unicorn.

"We don't have all day," the Knight says,

growing impatient for them to get in the carriage and be on their way to meet the Queen.

The two finally snap out of their awe-struck trance and enter the carriage.

The Knight rolls his eyes at the delay, but is also impressed with there wonder. Now that the two girls are in the carriage, it sets off towards the palace, pulled by the two majestic unicorns. With the unicorns at maximum speed, they arrive at the palace in no time, the unicorns slowing to halt once they arrive.

The pair are led inside along with the half-man beast, making their way towards the throne room to meet the Queen. As the Knight and the two girls and beast man enter the throne room, all eyes are watching them, including the Queen's. Everyone is wondering what the Knight has brought and why he feels the need to bring them to the Queen.

The Knight bows before the Queen and begins explaining the situation to her:

"Your Majesty, I'm here to report that earlier today I found two non-awakened Alpha and Omega who were drawn through a portal into this kingdom by the half-man beast. They were unaware of their alpha and Omega status and, by breathing the magic of this kingdom, they awakened."

"Is this true?" the Queen asks, looking at the two girls.

"Your majesty, it is all true," the Knight replies.

The Queen looks at La, as if waiting for her to say something. Meanwhile, Zara is left stunned by the Queen's appearance.

Using her power, the Queen moves La closer to her and says, "She is the Omega."

The Knight confirms, "Yes your Majesty."

The room falls silent as everyone awaits the Queen's verdict.

The Queen has made her decision. "I declare the beast man be punished for bringing foreign races into our kingdom," she declares. "So the beast man will be imprisoned and be put to labor work," she adds.

Zara and La share a shocked and worried look at the Queen's verdict. The beast man is clearly upset too, feeling as though it is unfair to punish him for something he had no control over.

But the Queen has spoken, and the beast man will be imprisoned and put to work laboring to help the kingdom.
