The next day Adam woke up as usual and Started his daily quest task first as his body was still weak and the nourishment from the meal, with the exercise and the energy the system made him slightly stronger.

At least stronger than average normal human level but still a far distance away from reaching the peak human level.

Adam as planned took the chuck of emrald back inside the reward space as he changed and went outside.

"Taxi" Adam called out as fast taxi made sudden turn and stopped in front of him.

" where To".

Adam recalled the adress from his memory and soon the taxi took off.

He made his way to hell kitchen the taxi soon stoped before a building.

He gave the taxi driver the money as he walked up through the narrow stairs and soon came to a door.

"Knock" "Knock"

It was complete silence

"Knock" "knock"

Adam knock slightly once again

Some movement could be heard from inside soon the noise of the door being unlocked could be heard as the door was slowly opened.

"I have already told you shits that he has a job now"

A women with brown disheveled hair, white skin and light brown pupils ,who wore a simple colour faded dress opened the door with gun by her hand.

A gun was pointed directly at Adam the women noticed that Adam wasn't one of her husband bad company and immediately lowered her gun.

"What do you want?"

The women asked Adam as she had never seen him.

"I'm here for Sam" Adam asked with a sight confusion.

She heard Adam and turned around as she called Sam and invited Adam inside.

Inside was a clean house not much bigger compared to his.

Soon A blackman with bulky muscles came outside from the room he only had his pants and was half naked.

He glanced at Adam for second before he had enlightened expression.

"Yo, if this ayit our neighborhood good boy"

He laughed with sarcasm.

Sam was one of the children who he meet along his life and Sam was also his trusted friend but later he had followed some gang members.

Adam had an annoyed expression.

"Sam please don't open your stinky mouth and I have serious business"

The man looked at Adam in surprise "I think I am having a dream"

Soon the lady came back with two beer bottles.

"Dear am I awake"

"Slap"

She slapped him and smiled" yes, you are"

The man glared at her but didn't get angry at the women and as soon as she gave the beer to Sam and was about to give Adam one Sam Stopped her

"Dear, he doesn't like beer give him something else like some milk"

The women stopped but Adam just took the beer as he took a sip.

Sam looked at this in disbelief as he sat down.

"You changed Adam the Adam i know wouldn't even touch a glass of wine with his hand"

"people change Sam ,now can we talk business as I have many things to do afterwards"

"So, what the business don't tell me you changed your mind of being eeh, what was it again.

ya.., a lawful citizen"

"No I haven't but I got this thing that could help settle me down and I want you to help me sell it"

Adam spoke as he glanced at Sam's eyes.

"So what this thing you talk about"

Hearing Sam's question Adam didn't show the emrald but glanced at the women besides Sam.

Sam also noticed this but just smile as he spoke" don't worry man she is fine and let me Introduce you this is my wife Lucy"

Adam decided trust the women as he trusted Sam.

Adam just motioned and a large chunk of uncut emerald appeared above the table.

Sam and his wife had their eyes glued to the EMARALD chunk but different thoughts.

"Where did you get and is it really what I think it is." asked Sam in suprise and excitement as he had already had a guess as what this was.

But Lucy asked a different question that reminded Adam about his unconsciously ignore mistake due to the influence of his past life.

"How did you do it?"

"what are you talking about Lucy?" Sam aked in confusion.

Lucy rolled her eyes as she thwacked his head hard as she asked.

"Are you fucking blind he just magically made it appears here"

"ah.. holly s**t how could I not notice it"

he exclaimed.

And Adam was stunned as he only thought about this now unlike his previous world were everyone used their powers in daily life this world was different.

"Forget about that now are we talking about the deal"

"Okay let's hear it"

This time it was Lucy who did the talking and she had a serious expression.

"I want your help to sell this and you can take 10 million from this as fee or join me to start a restaurant together how we planned in old days'"

Before Sam can finish talking a powerful thwack was heard and Sam looked at his wife with fear.

Lucy then glanced at Adam seriously as she spoke" Five million dollar in cash and partnership in the restaurant "

Adam thought about this and they talked about the details of partnership and soon made a deal.

Adam gave the emerald chunk to Sam as he left.

After Adam left Sam glanced at his wife and asked with some confusion " Dear why did you refuse the ten million we could have been settled with this."

"For our daughter"

"ahh"

" maybe you won't mind her growing up in hell kitchen but I do and I saw something in him that your other friend didn't have"

"sincerity and I have feeling that following him would be best decision we could ever make"

"Sure now let me make some calls and sell this baby "

Sam spoke with a wide smile plastered on his face.

"Don't get cheated as this is our tickets out of this place"

Lucy reminded Sam seriously.
