Inviting trouble.
Liam stepped back from the handshake, a small smile forming on his lips.
"You can join them," Aditya gestured that Liam joined the celebrations with a jovial expression.
'Ha, I won't regret this, right?… Hopefully, I don't,' Liam thought of his decision to take Aditya's hands. It didn't seem like a big deal on the outside but Liam knew things can't be perfect.
Looking at the gathering, Liam decided to move forward, turning to check if Aditya was behind him. 'I can't go there alone. What would I say? Hi, I'm an adventurer.'
Liam had headaches thinking of how to introduce himself. He is not a social type, so everything felt strange and tiring to him.
'Keep calm, and just say anything!'
As he approached, all eyes turned to look at him, scrutinizing him as if he were some rare creature. Their expressions were hard to read, causing Liam's heart to beat faster.
'Come on Liam, you can't act weak for some unknown people…'
