"Now that we are a teacher and a student, we should introduce ourselves properly. My name is Anko Mitarashi, a Tokubetsu-Jounin specialized in tracking and espionage." Anko spoke before eating a dango.
I nodded. "Kuro Shizumatta, a Genin. I specialize in Ninjutsu, Chakra Nagashi and I'm a Sensor."
Anko was surprised. "A Sensor? However, you didn't use an ability like that to find the snake, did you?"
I shook my head. "When they don't have too much chakra, I can't tell what living being I'm feeling. I can't tell if it's a snake or another animal."
Well, that is a little lie, however, I need to have some things hidden in case something happens.
Although, revealing some things that they did not know before is not bad either.
As for Chakra Nagashi, I've never actually trained that.
However, thanks to that Anime of swords and demons, I can use elements with my sword, which others are going to interpret as Chakra Nagashi, therefore it won't hurt to reveal it.
Anko nodded, "I see, still, it's quite useful." She grabbed another kabob stick and spoke again. "Also, the way you use Henge, although ingenious, when you take the form of another animal you reveal a lot of imperfections in behavior and the way they actually move. These flaws will be easy to do discernible to any Shinobi with minimal experience and even a civilian skilled in animal behavior could see it, so keep that in mind. " She said before starting to eat.
Although I was already aware of something so obvious, it is good to confirm it.
I nodded and asked a question that I thought a while ago, "Sensei, you were already a Tokubetsu-Jounin the first time we met; shouldn't you be a Jounin now?"
"I am, well, in everything but name." She shrugged. "Due to some circumstances, I am not officially a Jounin. My strength surpasses some of the Jounin anyway, so don't think I'm incompetent." She said while narrowing her eyes.
I shrugged, "I didn't say that. I was just curious."
Anko nodded, "Well, now I'll explain a few things to you." She said before starting to explain.
First of all, I will not have teammates due to my abilities and doing so could make teamwork difficult.
Second, the missions I will be doing will be a bit different than the other teams.
Although I will still have some D-rank missions, I don't need to wait as long as the others for a C-rank one.
And lastly, we'll be a kind of support team in case another team needs trackers for a mission.
Anko cupped her chin for a moment and spoke, "Alright, I think that's it." After saying that, she got up with the empty Bento "See you here tomorrow at 7 in the morning." I nodded before she disappeared.

.
It's already been 6 days since my trial in the Forest of Death and I've been doing D-rank missions ever since, however, Anko told me that today would be different.
I am walking in the direction of the Main Gate, the meeting place for today.
I also have my katana tied around my waist, something I've been doing these days, thanks to Anko's advice. It is to get used to always having it with me and being prepared for anything.
After a while, the front door was in sight. When I got close enough, Anko appeared next to me.
"Here, read it as we walk." She said as she handed me a scroll and started walking towards the door.
I followed her while I opened the scroll.
The content was simple; Description of the mission, rank, employer, pay, and Hokage's signature. The description also included what was necessary for the mission to be considered complete.
In this case it was the following;
A group of bandits have been looting and wreaking havoc in some settlements and small towns around the Village.
They have dispatched some other equipment, however the bandits are difficult to locate, although that is the only thing special about them.
The reason the mission is still in C rank and has not increased is because they have already caught and killed some bandits, confirming that they are only good at hiding.
We must find and capture or exterminate the bandits.
The employers were some heads of different towns, surely scared to be next.
The payout is 92.300 Ryo, which can go up to 100.000 depending on the number of bandits.
Just when I finished reading the scroll, I received a quest from the System.
[Quest Alert!
Name: First C-Rank Mission!
Description: Find and capture or exterminate the bandits!,?,?
Rewards: +4650 EXP,?,?
Failure: Nothing,?,?]
'Is it mandatory…?' I thought before opening the Quest List, and yes, the quest was there.
The question marks should be a hidden target, like a hostage rescue or something similar, however, it can also mean an unknown increase in danger.
"So? What do you think?" Anko's voice interrupted my thoughts.
'Well, I just have to stay alert.'
I closed the scroll and handed it back to her, "Hm, it's a bit strange that they can hide so well."
She grabbed the scroll and nodded, "Yes, apparently they have a great deal of knowledge of the area." Anko spoke while putting the scroll in her backpack.
I raised an eyebrow at that "Do you think they have any maps?"
Anko shook her head. "There are few or no maps as detailed about a particular area. And if there were one, it wouldn't fall into the hands of a band of bandits, after all, it would sell quite well in any other Hidden Village."
I nodded. "So, they have been living there for a long time, however, only recently have they started to wreak havoc; is it possible that they are people from other nearby towns?"
Anko smiled and shook her head. "No, the trapped bandits demonstrated too high a level of martial arts for a small town."
I nodded. "Hm. And did those bandits say something?"
"Yes, they revealed some pretty hidden hiding places in the forest, however, there was nothing when we arrived."
"I see." I nodded.
