Chapter 28: Ryujiro vs. Orochimaru

A resounding crash echoed through the air, swirling up clouds of dust that erupted with tremendous force, forming a wave of wind.

"What's happening?"

"This Chunin Exam is a disaster!"

The three figures emerging from the dust were none other than Shikamaru, Choji, and Ino.

They scrambled to their feet, brushing off the dust and gazing at the massive crater before them, as if a meteor had struck.

Just as they pondered, another figure appeared before them.

"Is that Ryujiro?!"

Ino exclaimed in astonishment.

They used to be classmates with Ryujiro, but now he had become a well-known and acknowledged ninja in Konoha.

As for their chances in this Chunin Exam, they weren't too hopeful.

Ryujiro cast a casual glance at the three of them. "You'd better leave now. Otherwise, I can't guarantee your safety if you get involved later."

What? Are they just burdens here?

Suddenly, Shikamaru's expression changed drastically, his eyes filled with terror as he stared at the eerie figure emerging from the crater.

He immediately grabbed Ino and Choji. "Choji! Ino! Let's get out of here!"

Should she continue the pursuit?
