Chapter 104: Grandpa Vs Grandson (2)

The two Karyu Endan jutsus hurled towards each other, leaving a trail of scorching heat in their wake. As they collided, a blinding explosion of fire erupted, sending shockwaves rippling through the air.

Both Ken and Hiruzen continued to pour chakra into their jutsus to continue fueling the streams of fire. Ken was doing it hoping to overpower his grandpa while Hiruzen just wanted to match his grandson's jutsu.

The ground trembled beneath their feet as the force of the impact between the two fire streams created a crater, sending debris flying in all directions by creating a blinding explosion of fire that momentarily obscured everything around them.

'I can't continue pouring more chakra into the jutsu. Old man has much more chakra than me despite his old age. Was not he supposed to be weak and losing chakra with age? Ugh... Damn!' Ken stopped supplying the chakra to the jutsu. Seeing this, Hiruzen too stopped supplying more chakra.

The fire streams turned into fireballs due to the lack of new flames being channeled into them. A spectacular sight unfolded as the two fireballs, equal in power, remained locked in a volatile struggle, swirling and twisting against each other in a mesmerizing dance of destruction. The ground beneath them glows red-hot from the intense heat, and the surrounding trees swayed from the force of the clash.

Finally, with a deafening roar, both fireballs exploded outwards. Both Ken and Hiruzen covered their eyes from the intense light and heat of the explosion.

'He is using Karyu endan better than many members of the Sarutobi clan despite practicing it for only two years. I do not doubt that he would grow stronger as he ages.' Hiruzen admired the sight.

'The temperature has increased by a lot. If I had known lightning release, I could have used Sasuke's kirin jutsu with the help of the clouds that are now in the sky. Grandpa would have been so shocked to see me use an S-rank jutsu like that. But the truth of the matter is that I can't use it. Well, time for my real plan to start.' Ken thought as he commanded his shadow clones to act.

The three shadow clones jumped at Hiruzen who was still surrounded by rubber limiting his movements. He casually punched one of the clones as Ken smirked.

The shadow clone popped with a burst of Lava while the two other clones too popped from two other directions in a shower of liquid Lava.

'Got you, I call it the kamikaze attack.' Ken's smirk widened.

Hiruzen though shocked did not lose his cool as chakra gathered on his feet as well as his palms. He then spun around.

"Rotation" The rubber near his feet could not handle the pressure from his movement and split apart while the liquid lava from the clones bounced back from the spinning chakra shield.

"Oi Oi Oi, You can't just keep using secret jutsus from other clans. It is unfair." Ken shouted in frustration.

"Well, Life is unfair. People without a kekkei genkai would feel jealous of you having two of them. Heck, even those with a kekkei genkai would be jealous of you. Do you hear them saying that it's unfair? Remember Ken, I have trained for decades to reach the level of power that I am on currently. There might be people with even more ridiculous abilities than mine. Would you tell them that it is unfair for them to have such an ability?"

'Believe me Gramps, there is no one else in this world that understands this fact better than me. The ridiculousness of Obito's mangekyou powers or the abilities that Pain wields or the reanimation jutsu that Orochimaru can use.' Ken knew that there were people who had such ridiculous abilities that a dozen kekkei genkai users would not be a match for them.

'But that is the reason I train. To surpass all of them!' Ken's spirit ignited.

"That said that was quite creative of you. You made me believe that those clones were shadow clones and not lava clones. Clever." Hiruzen praised Ken who did not feel much praise at all.

'Even if the plan was clever, you came uninjured from it. How can you even use rotation without Byakugan? I am pretty sure that those Hyuga elders would come knocking at Grandpa's doors if he was not the Hokage or so strong for stealing their technique.' Ken commented in his mind while he thought about what else he could throw at his grandpa.

'He is not using his chakra field to sense for now. He likely wants to make the fight more interesting that way. Oh well, who am I to refuse such a polite request?' Ken took out four storage scrolls from his pouch which he had made himself as he threw them in the air towards Hiruzen as he made a quick hand sign to release whatever was in the scrolls.

Hiruzen was ready to cast a defensive jutsu as he knew his grandson's destructive tendencies.

'Who knows if this brat has created or bought hundreds of explosion tags and has stored them in those storage scrolls waiting to be unleashed on his old man?' Hiruzen thought but to his surprise instead of explosion tags, water bursted out of those scrolls.

And when he said water, he meant huge amounts of water erupted from the storage scrolls as they flooded the entire training ground.

Ken created earth walls around the training ground to hold the water inside the training ground.

Hiruzen did not need to create any defensive jutsu as the water did not have much pressure to crush him to death.

He also did not fear drowning since he simply walked on the water.

'Now what is my grandson up to? And where the hell did he get this much water from? I hope that he did not take it from the village water reservoirs or the village is screwed for the next couple of days because of water shortage.' Hiruzen thought
