CHAPTER-29 SPIRITUAL WORLD

Before Kai could even remember complete characteristics of the soul beast it has already make a move and launched an attack towards Kai.

Its dark purple eyes shone brightly and Kai felt like a needle hitting his brain as a terrific pain make him almost scream, it was a spiritual shock.

The bat has already launched itself at Kai who was in a trance but suddenly Kai's shine eyes brightly with platinum color and the bat felt like his mental attack have been backfire on it as it also scream in agony.

After the moment of pain which seems to be disappear as soon as it came, Kai felt a warm sensation in his brain and when his focus become clear he found himself floating in the air and what he saw below his feet is an endless sea of a blue water.

But on the contrast to the sea the sky was shining with platinum color and when he look for the source of this brightness, he saw a tiny crystal hovering in the sky.

His eyes are attracted by the crystal as he keep looking at it but just only after few seconds he felt like a huge amount of information suddenly entering his mind and as he read through that information which seems to be written in a common language he felt that it is actually too mysterious.

The words are simple but also contain very deep meaning inside them and only after just reading for a while he did realize that this whole thing is actually a soul art and not just any normal soul art but a spirit art which is especially design to cultivate spiritual power.

Spiritual power which is also known as a mental strength is an inseparable part of a soul master as without sufficient amount of spirit power they can't cultivate their soul power thus are unable to improve and even effectively use their current strength.

Spirit art are the best way to cultivate the spiritual power but it is so rare that even most of the strong clan thus not have a spirit art and have to rely on spirit techniques to cultivate their spiritual sea.

Soul/Spirit art and soul/spirit techniques are two different things. Soul art means a systematic arrangement of numbers of different techniques which allow the cultivator to improve in an all-around way while soul techniques are just simple skills which can only have single use.

Even as a former crown prince he have only saw a middle tier spiritual art which was much worse than the one in front of him. This spiritual art is so good that he can't believe that such a thing even exist.

In fact Kai has a strong innate talent for spiritual cultivation, when he was six years old his spiritual power was tested by the impirial priest of their country and the old priest declare him as the number one genius in terms of spiritual talent he had ever seen.

This spirit art has a title 'Spiritual World' which means creating a small separate world inside the cultivator's spiritual sea and command everything inside it but it is not only limited to inside world but also let the user to analyze their surrounding and create a duplicate inside his brain.

If Kai have to evaluate this spiritual art he would say that it is one of the best in the world, of course he have not saw many spiritual art thus can't accurately evaluate it.

While reading the art he almost forgot that he is actually in an unknown place. After reading the one fourth of the art he suddenly felt extremely dizzy and lost consciousness.

Kai's eyes tremble as he slowly wake up from his unconscious state, and as soon as he woke up he saw a familiar face. It was Sera who is looking at him with a deeply worried face.

He also saw Tony and Ria as well as an unknown middle age man, by looking at his surrounding he figure out that they are already outside the forest.

"Kai are you fine?" Sera worriedly asked.

"Yes, I am fine but how did I get here and what happened to that evileye bat".

"I brought you out" at this moment the middle age man spoke.

Apparently the man is a forest security officer, he saw Kai laying in the forest and an injured evileye bat who wanted to attack Kai, the officer timely saved him and bring Kai out of the forest and met Sera and others on his way.

At first he was really angry at their recklessness but after knowing that they are actually working students of the surya academy and how they have get into this trouble his anger is subsided.

After all this is a part of their study and anyone above the three ring cultivation have the right to enter the outer region of the forest anyway. This incident can only be say to be a stroke of bad luck.

After the incident Kai and his group didn't continue their venture in the forest and returned to the academy, today Kai and others really learned a lesson that in this big world their strength is nothing, there are plenty of dangers that can kill them in seconds.

But they also learned that they need to become stronger in order to survive in this world. They have became overconfident merely after winning a single interclass competition.
