Everyone started arriving by 7:00pm.

To look polite Mark spoke back to her in English

"Good evening ma'am , thank you for coming"

"Don't worry I'll introduce myself during dinner"

She walked forward and squatted to greet Jason; Jason hugged her tightly and kissed her cheek.

"Thank you for coming grandma" he said in Mandarin.

"No problem "

Since no one else was arriving ; They finally left the corridor and joined the others in the sitting room.

The sitting room was lively. The teenagers and kids huddled together on the ground and talked about school while stuffing their mouth with snacks ; Even the gloomy Xin shi was now sitting shyly near Zing and listening to the discussion .

Angela have somehow convinced the elders including Jason grandmother into practicing yoga in the sitting room; They were sitting cross legged on the ground , listening her chant.

The rest were talking about politics while passing snacks and wine to each other; even Zixuan added some input once in a while.

Jason sighed loudly but there was a smile on his face. "This is really heartwarming , I wish we do this every year "

"Who said we can't do it every year? " Mark smiled shyly and lowered his eyes " We can always stay together forever "

He felt someone hold his hand and he raised his head.

Jason was looking at him with all the love in his heart ; Mark couldn't help but smile helplessly too.
