Extra 6 : Happy ever after (1)

It's been 4 months and 2 weeks.

During that time , a lot of events have happened.

The hospital expanded to South Changsha so they transferred some medical personnels to the new branch.

Mark and Jason were among those they transferred so they had to relocate. Fortunately Zing wasn't starting school until January next year so they could relocate with their foster parents without any problems.

Miss Angie was sad to see them leave her roof and weep dramatically with Eric patting her gently. She promise to visit once in a while.

Eric was however happy to see his brother and his boyfriend leave , he even gave them a honeymoon banner.

"Finally , I can sleep without the use of cotton wool buds in my ears !!!"

Angela was a real estate agent in England so she was actually efficient in helping them research and secure a good deal with the Chinese market.

The only downside was that when they relocated , she took her load and moved in with them.

Jason was really planning on throwing friendship aside and beating her up but Mark convinced him that Angela made a great teenage - sitter and could help them watch Zing whenever they got busy at the hospital.

Fortunately Zing also glowed up during the time they spent with them. The silly child was shy at first , always hiding behind him and rushing to their room when there was visitors but now...

Mark looked at the transformed Zing as they painted Angela nails and chatted with her about make-up at the same time. There was a huge grin on their face and their eyes sparkled.

They are even socializing with their foster parent enemy without any fear.

Mark shook his head and went back to chopping vegetables.

What ever made me thought that the silly child was an introvert ? They are just as talkative as Jason...

"Looking at Zing transformation?"

Mark turned to the side and saw that Jason have already entered the kitchen when he didn't notice.

Since it was already Christmas season , everywhere was chilly. So in order not to make Jason freeze , He was always stuffed into double hoodies and there's always a blanket on his legs.

Mark felt his arms itching.

The silly classmate looked extra huggable.

As if Jason could hear his thoughts, he smiled softly "Bon Choco , we can hug in the evening"

Mark snapped out of it and nod his head vigorously before going back to chopping.

"When is your grandmother arriving?"

"She will be here in a few hours "

"Is she angry about having to come instead of you having to go there ?"

Jason shook his head "Nah, Christmas traditions are starting to get lax in England already ; besides she have always wanted to visit china as a normal person "

Mark blinked in confusion " Isn't she a normal person?"

".....Y-Yes she's normal hahaha"

"And you are talking like it's the Queen of England coming over to this humble abode " He laughed nervously when he saw that Jason lips twitched "Wait.... I know about your mom's side of the family; What's your dad side of the family?"

"Promise you won't freak out "

" I feel like freaking out right now! is she really the Queen of England?!" He gasped when Jason nod his head slowly " I have been dating a prince?!!!"

Jason groaned and rub his forehead " This is why I didn't want to tell you.."

Mark raked his hands through his hair and threw a light fit "Why didn't you say anything ?! "

"Because you will start to treat me like I am some kind of special person..."

"Wait if you are a prince , doesn't that mean that your grandmother won't approve of this relationship ? Does it mean we will be forced apart ? What about Zing?who will take custody of him ?!"

"Mark , the food is burning"

"F*ck you , I am not boiling anything , what we are making is hotpot"

Jason shrugged in a ' I don't know ' gesture.

Despite the floor is dirty , Mark sat down on the ground and placed his head on his laps.

"I don't want to be forced apart from you"

Jason stroked his hair softly.

"She isn't going to freak out , Unlike the Queen before her , she isn't racist ,homophobic and transphobic .... "

He shrugged again , a small smile on his face; "Besides she still feels guilty about sending my family to China 10 years ago all because she didn't want the world to know she have a disabled grandson... if she complains, I'll just remind her of that and she will be back in my thumb"

"I didn't know you have a manipulative side to you "

"Every innocent faced person have a manipulative side to them , it's how they keep the peace"

Mark sighed deeply and there was a comfortable silence between them.

"So... which family is Angela from?"

"Oh she's the duchess daughter ... no one important"

"I hear you Jason !!!"

He used a finger to signify ' just a minute ' before shouting at the top of his lungs .

"You are listening to my husband and I discussion? Go get a wife!"

Mark heard a dramatic Le gasp "This is how you treat your bestie who decided to spend her Christmas with your family uhhhh?!!""

"You just don't want to hear Aunt ask when you're getting a boyfriend during dinner !!!"

Another dramatic Le gasp

"You know what I'll leave your house after Christmas , in fact I'll leave tomorrow with grandmother !!!"

Jason gave a huge sigh of relief "I was hoping that day will come , you have been freeloading on our food, drinks , foster son affection and television for the past few months now "

"Okay now I am mad !!!" There was a loud stomping before she opened the door of the kitchen and showed Jason a f*ck you sign ; Her nails were so well-done it actually suit the occasion " I am no longer leaving again !!! I will relocate to China and start living here "

"As long as you don't live in the same house with my family like an unemployed relative , then I don't care where you move to "

Angela opened her mouth then close it like fish ; then she humphed and stomped back out.

Jason rolled his eyes dramatically.

Mark couldn't help but break into laughter " To be honest , after staying with her for a while now ; I feel she's a cute person . A little crazy...but cute"

"Well she have always have that charm about her..." He smiled softly;his eyes were warm " She still feel guilty about not following me 10years ago like Jac'key did ; that's why she's so clingy now as a grown up"

"Do you still see her as a friend?"

"If I say so , the woman behind the door head will start to swell... Angela I know that you're eavesdropping behind the door !!!"

There was panicked footsteps running away; There was a slip and a loud thud followed it.

Zing sounded fed up" Big sister Angela , can you be a little less clumsy? look at the bruise on your knee ... so ugly!"

The couple looked at each other before bursting into laughter.
