Since it was Mark first day of starting work in the paediatric department ; he didn't do much except greet and familiarize himself with the environment.

Fortunately the department was mild mannered and all would have been good; if not for the silly classmate that tag along with him everywhere.

"I want to make sure you are comfortable that's all"

"So do you want me to drive you home?"

Mark rubbed his ears for the nth time "Shut up ; I have an headache"

"Should I get you pain relievers ?"

Mark glared at him.

Jason rubbed his arms nervously "Paracetamol or ibuprofen or aspirin"

"Okay I'll shut up "

As soon as the time clocked 6pm ; Mark changed his clothes and left for the hospital parking lot.

He waited for quite a while ; he was about to call Yoona and say a piece of his mind when a black van paused in front of him.

Mark tightened his hold on his bag ; Black vans according to movies are suspicious.

The window went down ; it was a familiar young man at the steering wheel.

"Young master Mark..."

Mark hold loosen immediately

Mark hatred for Jason was deep ; because of that he had always took note of everyone around him. Despite how social Jason was , He was only attached to one friend.

And that's his best friend and No 1 lackey Jackson Tang.

Jackson aka Jac'key was noted for his butler like behavior. He called everyone 'Young master and Madame' , he called teachers ' Professor ' and most famous of all he called Jason ' My prince ' ; he was always taking care of Jason ; from buying him snacks to cleaning his shoes.

He hasn't been leaving work early so he didn't know that Jac'key still followed Jason everywhere; Even picking him up at work.

"I didn't know you work here ..." Jac'key changed his words when Mark shot him a cold look " I am sorry ...I knew; You always escaped before my prince could offer you a ride "

Mark held his speech and looked at the time. That motherfucking Yoona better have a good explanation for her lateness or else ...

His eyes caught two people laughing together as they came closer to the parking lot.

Jason stopped laughing and gestured wildly with his arms , Yoona made a ' ahhh ' with her mouth and pointed at Mark then she shook her head in amusement.

Mark eyes narrowed in suspicion ; What was his best friend and enemy talking about?

"Bon Choco Sorry am late " Yoona hugged Mark and patted his head ; He felt all the irritation rush out of him at once " I had a little bit of business "

"Hmmm..." his body felt werid with the way Jason was glaring at him again; he turned to leave" let's get going then "

"No wait ..." Yoona pulled him back" let's take a ride home with Jason"

".... Yoona come here for a minute let's talk"

When they were at a sufficient distance from the Van , Mark pulled Yoona ear.

"Bon Choco be gentle... umph.. if you tear my ear off ; my husband will hunt you down ...ouch ouch ouch ... Don't do this to the love of your life .. if not I won't be able to hear your sweet nothings...ahhhh "

"I thought your husband will hunt me down" He pulled the ear some more " You and Sarah are always rubbing your marriage in my face... "

"Domestic violence is bad ; please be merciful"

Mark rolled his eyes and let go " You know how much I dislike him and you still say we should hitch a ride , you want drama that bad ?"

"I like drama but it's different.. " Yoona rubbed her ears to soothe the ache " Have you ever thought that you might be misunderstanding his intentions;I think he's a nice guy...."

"What nice guy ?! it's a facade!"

Yoona continued in spite of Mark disgusted face "In school he was always trying to talk to you ..."

"Talk to me ? When ?"

"Everytime ! but you would just frown ..."

"Oh he wasn't trying to talk to me ; he was glaring. Don't you see those blue eyes ... intense like he want to swallow me in one bite " Mark rubbed his arms and shuddered " At times I catch him watching me at the back of the class as if waiting for me to make a mistake ... what? why are you looking at me like that?"

"..... Nothing I just realized for the first time in 14 years , that you could be a little foolish at times "

" You are foolish , your whole family is foolish "

"You are part of my family "

"Shut up "

They returned back to the van .

" I am sorry but due to health reasons, we decided to let you two go on your way " Yoona bowed at Jason whose face turned pale " Safe journey"

"Okay..." He brought out his phone and stretched it out Yoona "Phone number?"

"She's married " Mark said coldly and pulled her away " Bye bye"

Yoona couldn't help but roll her eyes "You are so immature; How are you sure he wants to take my number for bad purposes ?"

Mark waited for the green light before crossing to the other side.

" Aish you are so pretty and young ; no one will even know you have a 9 years old child" He didn't notice Yoona blushing " Of course he will try to shoot his shot ... oh we caught the bus ! let's go let's go !!!"

Jason watched Mark talking to his friends. Sarah , Zixuan and Yoona ; He heard that those three have been Mark closest people since senior school 1 and they are the only ones that can make him laugh.

He would look wonderful with a smile

The thought struck him like a thunderbolt and he shook his head. This was why one must never be too grateful; strange thoughts will be floating around.

Sarah said something and Mark lowered his head and let out a laugh.

Jason clearly heard angels singing; His voice was bright and crisp and the way his eyes curved ...It was like there was butterflies in his stomach.

Jason reluctantly pulled his eyes from Mark and focus back on Jac'key. " Yes ; you were saying something about grandma.."

"I was talking about old madam"

"Yes yes yes..." his eyes went astray again when he heard Mark laugh again " How to become a Sarah "

"Huh ?"

"Do you think I am funny?"

Jac'key really looked confused " Yes I think you are funny "

"Really funny "

"Then you are lying " He pouted when Jac'key rolled his eyes " Jac'key... What do you think about Mark?"

"I think he's a bit cold and temperamental but other than that he's a nice man"

"... okay?"

Later as they were going home ; Jac'key finally couldn't hold his curiousity and leaned towards the daydreaming Prince.

"My prince do you have a crush on young master Mark?"

Jason almost fell off the chair " Of course not! what made you think that?! I am not gay !!!"

"I am not saying you are gay ; I am saying you could be pansexual or bisexual " he adjusted himself to move closer to the blushing Jason " Remember that teacher who tutored you back when we were in England? You liked talking about him a lot; you even pasted his pictures on the wall "

"It's admiration okay?!!"

"But at the same time You crushed on Becky the duchess daughter too ; You gave her gifts Everytime you saw her because she smiled at you ..."

Jason opened his mouth then closed it like fish : he then rubbed his arms nervously and nodded.
