I caught up with them and saw Roseanne on the rooftop, sitting in the pilot's seat of the helicopter.
"Wait! Wait, Rosy! Calm down! Let's plan first," I said, pulling her away from the seat.
"Plan? A-Are you guys coming with me?" she asked, wiping her tears.
"Of course, we're friends. We're not letting you go alone," Thame said, hugging her.
"Thank you," Rosy said, her voice trembling.
"Now, let's talk about the plan," BJ said, leading us back to our hideout. We had set up a small shelter behind the barn. After grabbing some water, we settled in to discuss our next move.
"We need to wait until Mom and the others leave for their expedition again," I said.
"Oh right! If we leave while they're here, they might follow us and stop us," BJ added.
"When is Auntie Ariela's next expedition?" Rosy asked.
"They're leaving again tomorrow. I heard them talking about it earlier," Zach said. We were all taken aback.
