Chapter 12: Enemies meet on a narrow road, so take the expressway.

"Young master Hong. Young miss and I will be leaving first." Song Xuqi said and respectfully bowed to Hong Yue and Lan Xing. "Master Huang is also here to sign the papers for young miss's admission to the university." He explained.

Hong Yue was surprised. "Uncle is also here?!" he said.

Song Xuqi nodded and smiled. "Young master. Please take care of yourself more." He told Hong Yue before he turned to Lan Xing. "Young master Lan. I am hoping for you to take care of my young master." He told him.

Lan Xing nodded. "I will." He answered.

Song Xuqi smiled brightly. "Then, young miss and I won't be bothering you furthermore since you still have a class. Please excuse us." He said and slightly bowed at them before he and Huang Anyi left. Huang Anyi still wore a frosty expression.

"There they go..." Hong Yue said as they watched Song Xuqi and Huang Anyi disappeared from their sight. He turned to Lan Xing. "You don't need to tell Xuqi that." He told him.

Lan Xing ignored his words. "That butler called you 'young master'." He said.

Hong Yue shrugged. "That's how he addresses everyone." He said when he remembered Song Xuqi also addressed Lan Xing as a young master. He didn't know Lan Xing is the sole heir of Zhou Tianshan – one of the giants in the business world.

"Oh." Lan Xing said. "Are your knees okay now?" he asked.

"Yes." Hong Yue answered.

"Then, let's go back." Lan Xing said.

Hong Yue nodded. "Okay." He said.

However, when they arrived in the computer laboratory, their teacher still wasn't there. Instead, they saw their classmates had their head buried in their mobile phone's screen.

Classmate A: the Celestial CP is here!

Classmate B: finally, they came back!

Classmate C: you guys... really. There's nothing going on between Lan Xing and Hong Yue.

Classmate D: then why are you here?

Classmate E: easy, guys. The matter here is, they both came back without the legal wife!

"Dunno." Lan Xing answered and his brows knit. The room is silent and only the sound of tapping can be heard as they played with their phone. "Right. If you're sleepy, you can sleep now. I'll wake you if the teacher arrives." He told Hong Yue when he remembered Hong Yue had stayed up late again last night.

"Oh. Thanks." Hong Yue said and smiled before he rested his arms and head on his table to sleep.

Classmate A: AAAAAH! Did they kiss?! Did they kiss?! DID THEY KISS?! Person who's near to them, did they or did they not kiss?!

Classmate B: classmate A, don't get too excited. Or when they'd kiss for real, you'll faint.

Classmate C: so, they didn't? *disappointed

Meanwhile, the reason the teacher later became absent is because of two people.

"Zhou Tianshan. What evil are you planning for my godson?!" Huang Ziming asked as he glared at Zhou Tianshan.

"Huang Ziming! How dare you slander me! What evil are you spouting?!" Zhou Tianshan, who left his work just to inquire about his son's latest friend, angrily asked.

The evil... ehem. The teacher who was caught in the crossfire. "..." when can I leave? She thought. She was about to go out of the office earlier when she heard the two are yelling at each other.

"What is your son planning to do with my godson?!" Huang Ziming asked as he pointed at Zhou Tianshan. "I tell you now. He can never have my godson! Hong Yue is for my dear daughter!" he told Zhou Tianshan.

Zhou Tianshan gaped at Huang Ziming in disbelief. "What do you mean by that?! As if I'd want a son-in-law! I don't even know who this Hong Yue is!" he said.

"You don't know the person your son bought that hoverboard we bid for?!" Huang Ziming looked at Zhou Tianshan as if he's looking at an idiot.

The idiot Zhou Tianshan. "..." crap. So, Lan Xing is telling the truth that the hoverboard is for a man?! Not to mention those seafoods... his face darkened.

Seeing Zhou Tianshan fell silent, Huang Ziming's face darkened, too. "Ha! I knew it! Your son is no good! He's planning evil for my godson! I won't allow it!" he said.

Zhou Tianshan regained his composure. "What do you know about children? If my son likes this Hong Yue, then I'll accept this Hong Yue for my son!" he said as he frowned at Huang Ziming.

Huang Ziming looked at Zhou Tianshan as if Zhou Tianshan had gone crazy. "You - !" he said. "My godson is for my daughter! They're already engaged! That's final!" he told Zhou Tianshan and marched towards the dean's office.

Zhou Tianshan's eyes widened. "'engaged'?!" he raged. "How can you force your godson to be engaged with your daughter?!" he asked as he followed Huang Ziming.

Huang Ziming turned to Zhou Tianshan. "'forced'?! I never forced my godson! I love him as my own son!" he told him.

"I love my son, too, so I only want what's the best for him! So, don't you dare go deciding on things!" Zhou Tianshan said. "As long as there's no engagement written, I will fight for my son!" he said.

Song Xuqi and Huang Anyi hiding in the stairwell and listening. "..." dad. Can't you let it rest?! I only joked about being Hong Yue's fiancée! Let Hong Yue be with Lan Xing! She thought and looked at Song Xuqi who laughed. They ship Hong Yue and Lan Xing, too.
