Chapter 13: Fear makes us weak, and weaker with the memories of it.

Hong Yue stared at Lan Xing who was giving him a piggyback ride again as they went back to their dormitory. "..." this is too embarrassing. He thought and felt his face burning when he saw the other students stared at them. He buried his face on the back of Lan Xing's head.

"Hm? What's wrong?" Lan Xing asked. "Do you have a motion sickness? Should I walk slower?" he asked as he tried to turn to Hong Yue but he felt Hong Yue held his head and made him face up front. His brows knit. "Are you sick and just hiding it?" he asked.

"No. I'm not. I'm fine!" Hong Yue immediately answered and buried his face on his hands. "And, you can walk faster." He told him.

"Okay." Lan Xing answered and held his thighs tight.

Hong Yue was startled and subconsciously hug Lan Xing's neck tight, before Lan Xing half-ran and half-walked to their dormitory.

"Too close!" someone exclaimed when he's about to take a picture of Hong Yue and Lan Xing.

"Aww... when can we find an evidence of the Celestial CP again?" somebody asked as they went out of the bushes.

"Too bad we noticed them too late!" someone sighed in regret and emerged from behind a post.

"Don't lose hope! Classes have only started! We can gather more evidence from them and let the Celestial CP be known!" Hei Ying, their leader, said. They are the classmates of Lan Xing and Hong Yue.

In the Shuihua University BBS (bulletin board system), they saw a forum about famous CPs. The BG CPs are the most popular, of course. But, there are also male x male CPs.

The male x male CPs forum is a secret forum since most CPs introduced are those who are not in real life couple. Thus, making two unrelated people a CP can disrupt their private life. And so, the forum is limited only to a certain number of people. They also had to present an evidence of their CP's interaction enough to recognize them a CP. Those who also wanted to become a member must continuously support their CP.

He Ying opened the forum and checked the list of the CPs. The most popular is the CP from the fourth year – the BaiLu CP. They are Bai Wenye – major in finance, and Lu Cheng – major in journalism. Bai Wenye is the gentle and doting gong while Lu Cheng is the proud shou.

The second popular CP is from the second year – the BaiHei CP. They are Bai Wenhe – major in finance, and Hei Yuanqi – major in education. Bai Wenhe is the tsundere gong while Hei Yuanqi is the vibrant shou.

The third CP is the BaixBai CP, the incest CP – Bai Wenye and Bai Wenhe. Who said you can't ship brothers? The gentle elder brother and the tsundere younger brother made one's heart itch. Thus, the CP is formed.

There are other CPs, but their Celestial CP is a dark horse. The loyal gong Lan Xing and the gloomy but clumsy shou Hong Yue!!!

"Let's do this!" He Ying said with her fists raised.

"Yeah!" her fellow classmates said.

They will begin their professional investigation of their Celestial CP tomorrow!

In the dormitory, Lan Xing and Hong Yue didn't meet Bai Wenhe and Hei Yuanqi. "I forgot to bring the hoverboard today. Sorry." Lan Xing said as he went inside with Hong Yue on his back.

Hearing the word, Hong Yue made a pause. "It's fine." He said and lowered his gaze.

Lan Xing placed him on the sofa. "I will bring it tomorrow." He told Hong Yue before he walked to the kitchen and missed to see Hong Yue's frozen expression. "What shall we eat tonight?" he asked from the kitchen.

Hong Yue calmed his heart before he spoke. "B-beef." He answered and cleared his throat when his voice croaked. He felt cold and his hands became clammy again just remembering the hoverboard he hid under his bed. He felt like the hoverboard would throw him in the middle of the street and make him ran down by the passing cars. He closed his eyes tight as he took deep breaths. "L – Lan Xing?" he called as he stared at the darkness from behind his eyelids. "Lan Xing?" he called again. "Lan Xing!" he called when he felt a panic. It's as if the darkness would swallow him whole.

"Yes?" Lan Xing answered and turned. He saw Hong Yue's back. "What's wrong? I've answered you since earlier." He told him.

Hong Yue heard Lan Xing's warped voice ringing in his ears and he forced his mind to decipher what the man said. "R-really? Hahaha..." he forced a laugh. He slowly opened his eyes when he felt he finally had calmed down. Damn vertigo. He cursed and gritted his teeth. He rose from the sofa, only for his legs to wobble. Had he not fell to the sofa, he must've fell on the coffee table and break it along with his body. He took a deep breath and tried to move his legs. After a few minutes, he felt them. Then, he slowly walked towards his room, opened the door and went inside then close it.

Lan Xing saw Hong Yue's silhouette disappeared when the young man entered his room. How long did he stay in the living room? He thought before he went to take his phone from his bag and then went back to the kitchen.

He was about to play a song when he saw Hong Yue passed by. "You're taking a bath?" he said.

Hong Yue just nodded before he went inside the bathroom and locked the door. Then, he gasped for breath and fell on his knees. "Hah... hah – ugh!" he covered his mouth before he vomited on the toilet bowl. "Hah... haah..." he breathed, his chest heaving up and down and his clothes are soaked because of his sweat. When he came inside his room, he immediately collapsed. Added to the fact that he saw the hoverboard beneath his bed, he felt the familiar vertigo again. He immediately pulled down the bed sheet to cover his sight of the hoverboard before he could forget how to move his limbs again.

As a result of his accident with the hoverboard before, it's more than a year before he learned how to walk, speak, eat and other motor skills. He was diagnosed in the hospital and only had the IV fluid sustain his body since he had even forgotten how to chew. He cannot feel his limbs and even his eyes. He had lost all his senses at that time. The doctor said it was psychological since he hadn't sustained any injury.

How can it not be psychological? He felt his existence was gone at that time.
