Once In a Lifetime Opportunity 2

"What now?"

Upon hearing Luna's response with a boasting tone of voice, Andrea was taken aback. She did not expect that answer. Just what will he get from a person like her? Andrea thought to herself as she still processed what he had just revealed.

On the other hand, Luna just titled his head innocently as he repeated what he said. "ME! You'll have me. Isn't that amazing, my lady?" He asked with full anticipation in the tone of voice, his eyes sparkling as he did so.

"...."

Andrea kept quiet as her face contorted into a disgusted expression. Just how much was this person being spoiled by everyone around him? His parents may be troubled because of this attitude of his. Upon seeing the negative reaction, Luna faltered after a while as he let out an embarrassed laugh to break the silence.

"That sounded more amazing in my mind than saying it out loud..." He said trailing off with his voice getting lower, especially at the end, as he scratched the back of his head.

With that, Andrea scoffed. She does not know if he is serious with her or not. And most of all, what is his motive for proposing such an idea? Andrea knew that she needed to sound him out first

"Cut the nonsense."

Her cold voice resonated in the entire room to, which made Luna more embarrassed than he already was. With that, Luna just slightly lowered his head in shame before responding.

"Yes, I apologize. But it's not a lie when I said that I would offer myself….Well, more like my service," he clarified, trying to redeem himself once more.

With that being said, Andrea was intrigued. Now they are talking. She already knew what he was trying to propose, but she needed to hear it directly from his mouth to confirm it. Having someone with supernatural powers is a great advantage for him. If Luna is an entity with an unknown origin, then Andrea is pretty convinced that he is not the only one. There must be someone out there who is like him. And if that certain person got in her way, then it would be bad.

But what really confuses Andrea is why was he helping her? Andrea thought that if she asked directly at Luna, then maybe he would decide not to tell her the truth. Nothing is free in this world. So there must be something she has to give back. And that is what makes Andrea contemplate this situation.

Upon seeing the severe expression the person before he is making, Luna then continues convincing the woman.

"For this to all make sense, I need to show you something first. Do come with me, my lady." Luna asked earnestly as he extended his plate white left hand, with palms up, and offered it in front of her. Andrea gazed solemnly at his hand, still hesitating whether to follow him or not.

"Why would I trust you? I might know your name, but it doesn't mean I will put my trust in you." Andrea rebutted strongly as she shifted her line of sight at the male, staring straight right into his clear yellow eyes.

With that, Luna could only smile in assurance as he responded to her with complete truthfulness. "It's up to you, milady. I mean no harm. If I did, I should have done it when you were in a coma for a week." He answered.

Upon hearing that, Andrea knew he was right. Why did she even bother asking? She asked this specific question when they first met. But the only difference is that she can't clearly see his expression upon answering that. Now, she can read on his face and actions that he was not lying.

'He has a point. Why harm me now when he could easily do it when I was unconscious for a couple of days in an unguarded room.' Andrea thought to herself as she gazed back at his hand, which was still waiting for her.

"Trust me. It will only be for a moment." Luna reassured once more as he leaned down and stared at her troubled expression.

And with that statement, Andrea decided to give in as she slowly lifted her hand and softly placed it on top of his palm. Right away after that, Luna gripped firmly Andrea's hand as he helped her stand up from her seat. A sly grin then creeps on his face with his eyes also smiling, showing a cunning expression on his face, clearly delighted by her decision.

Upon seeing the victorious smile of the man before her, Andrea had turned back to her tsundere personality. "Whatever. So, who's this person?"

Andrea raised a question while looking away from Luna's bright expression. For some reason, it ticks her off to see his smug smile. Hearing that question, Luna then slowly turned Andrea around, which Andrea unknowingly followed. With his big slender hands firmly planted on the sides of her shoulders, Luna leaned slightly to her ear as he whispered to her.

"Worry not. You have already met this person."

With that statement, Andrea looked back at him with furrowed brows and perplexed expressions. Suddenly a tiny ball of lights emerged beneath their feet which instantly caught Andrea's attention. It looked as if the glowing orbs were like big fireflies. It started to glow brighter as a lot of white balls started emerging as it slowly encapsulated both of them.

"W-what the—"

Before Andrea could even finish talking, they were both entirely covered by the glowing lights. Andrea could only close her eyes as the bright light blinded her eyes. There was a few seconds of silence as Andrea waited for a while.

"It's fine, my lady. You can open your eyes." Luna then said, whispering again as he reassured Andrea.

Upon opening her eyes, Andrea finds herself in an unfamiliar place. In the distance, a woman was facing away from them with long brunette-colored hair. The same color as her. Andrea couldn't see the woman clearly because it was nighttime. With that, Andrea was curious about that certain woman's identity.
