Although Lin Ran was stunned, she didn't think much to it and followed Wu Jinyan. She had already noticed Gu Zihao's exceptional concern towards Wu Jinyan. And also with how he took her to the Gala and made news headlines, there's nothing for her to ask. She could already guess that Gu Zihao was madly in love with Wu Jinyan and all it needed was Wu Jinyan to reciprocate his feelings.

Lin Ran had already heard about Wu Jinyan's failed wedding three years ago. It was a misery but looks like it turned into a blessing in disguise now.

'With a man like boss beside her, Wu Jinyan would definitely have a great life ahead, right?' Lin Ran smiled internally, staring at Wu Jinyan who was walking towards Gu Zihao's office without any restraint.

Gu Zihao's assistant who stood outside the room smiled politely and opened the door for Wu Jinyan.

'It looks like boss was already giving special treatment to Jinyan. They say men will become fools when they are in love..' With that thought, Lin Ran tried to follow Wu Jinyan but the door was closed before she could take a step ahead.

Watching the door shut on her face, Lin Ran turned her head and glared at the assistant and asked "Assistant Ning, what's up with that attitude?"

Assistant Ning lowered his eyes to glance at the woman and muttered nonchalantly "If you want to keep your position in the company, then stay out of things that doesn't matter to you"

"What?! She's my artist. She's my responsibility. What concerns her, concerns me as well" Lin Ran stomped her foot and looked at assistant Ning's back as he walked away.

She moved close to the door and pressed her ear on it to see if she could hear anything. Not hearing anything and with Assistant Ning scrutinizing her, she had no choice but to head back to her own office.

Inside Gu Zihao's office, Wu Jinyan saw a woman seated at the waiting area. She couldn't see the woman's face as she sat with her back towards the door.

Mu Feng and Gu Zihao who sat with their faces pointed to the door, instantly saw Wu Jinyan enter the room.

"You are here. What took you so long?" Mu Feng asked impatiently. He then moved a little away from where he sat and made space for Wu Jinyan.

Wu Jinyan didn't answer anything and joined with the men. She was yet to make herself comfortable on the sofa when a little bun crawled onto her and got settled on her lap.

"Pretty Aunty Jinyan... hehe" Little Bunny giggled and placed a light kiss on Wu Jinyan's cheek. His eyes were so clear, twinkling with unadulterated bliss.

"Little Bunny... you.." Wu Jinyan was stunned to find the kid there out of all places and turned around to look at the woman seated a little away from her.

"Little Bunny's mother?!" Wu Jinyan asked in surprise.

Lin Ya gave a faint smile before she clutched her tote bag tightly. She was given a task along with an irresistible opportunity by Gu Zichen.

It was time for her to put out her mesmerizing performance skills.

"Mrs. Gu? I didn't expect to see you here. Are you also an artist under Star Entertainment?" Lin Ya spoke out very enthusiastically and after staring at Wu Jinyan for a subtle moment, she continued in a doubtful voice, making sure her acting was on point and natural. "But I didn't see you in any dramas or movies. Are you a singer by chance? What songs did you..…"

The women were in a serious conversation while the men, Gu Zihao and Mu Feng were stunned to see Wu Jinyan and the artist signed by Gu Zichen to know each other. They didn't even want to think about the kid's sweet interaction with Wu Jinyan.

It was already a great feat for them to keep calm and composed after knowing that the artist signed by Gu Zichen was actually a mother of a four year kid. In addition, the scene that just unfolded before them was an eye opener, something that belonged to the out of the world experiences.

Mu Feng and Gu Zihao stared at each other in understanding and came to a definite conclusion to not get involved with the women and escaped from the room, sleek and clean.

Lin Ya was yet to complete her question when Little Bunny interrupted her. The little guy clapped his hand excitedly and said eagerly in his childish voice "Aunty, do you know what Uncle Gu said to me? He told me he will do everything to find my dad and... and he also gave my mom a job in this company and... also he..."

Wu Jinyan hated to disrupt the little guy's enthusiasm and nodded her head to everything he said. She was surprised to hear about Gu Zichen's kind actions towards Lin Ya instead of burying her.

After hearing from Gu Zihao about the family that incited the accident upon Gu Zichen was ruined by him, she understood her husband wouldn't be so kind to someone who crossed him.

'Gu Zichen had to be upto something' Wu Jinyan thought.

On other hand, Lin Ya was afraid her son would say something he shouldn't and mess up her plan.

She was asked to find out Wu Jinyan's location by Gu Zichen when she informed him that she was called to the company by Gu Zihao. But now that she had seen Wu Jinyan with he own eyes, she couldn't help but speak out her heart.

"Mrs. Gu, I'm sorry for my previous rude attitude towards you. I know I hurt you a lot. Hope you will excuse me. And, I never expected your husband to be so kind and soft hearted for him to forgive me, trying to find little Bunny's dad and also offer me a contract, asking me to become a artist in this company. He literally made my dream come true. Mrs. Gu, you are very lucky to have such a good man as your husband..."

Wu Jinyan raised her eyebrows in bewilderment.

Although Lin Ya said her words out of genuine happiness and gratitude, Wu Jinyan thought the reason for Lin Ya speak of Gu Zichen so highly and put him on a pedestal was intentional.

'How much did Gu Zichen pay her? She is investing too much in convincing me to get back with him...'
