My brilliant plan!
It wasn't long before I reached the towering building of elder Xuan. There, just like the usual, he was sitting on the floor, cultivating, behind a counter.
Technically, I was standing outside of the building, however, I was still under a roof. The reason why I'm saying that, is because I am not inside the building, while elder Xuan is. Elder Xuan is in a room I guess, and the wall that is supposed to be in front of me, is a counter instead.
"Yo. Elder Xuan. Wake up."
"Oh, it's you again. I was never asleep, you idiot."
With that said, the old man Xuan stood up from his place in order to get closer to me.
"What glory did you do this time?" The elder proceeded to ask me, since he was already expecting me to be asking him for my quest rewards. The reason for his sarcasm though, must have been because of how the good rewarding quests should have been impossible for someone like me to do. After all, I had 'doing the dishes' as an extreme ranking quest...
"The scouting mission that I have to do in the town of Avegus. I've got some important information, and that information actually revolves around me." I told the old man, and that's how my careful explanations about the appearance of different and multiple sect disciples began.

"Hmm… It does make sense for a guardian of that fiery flower to be extremely weak. Not only that, but you were rational enough to discover its weakness, therefore killing it accidentally…" The elder muttered after having heard of my story, which came after my explanations.
*Sigh* The elder continued with a sigh. "It was part of a quest, so it's not your fault. It's not something common for a guardian to get killed, as the method of extracting that flower is the use of agility. Unfortunate… We can only protect you in the sect. Hold on a minute. I think there is something extra I could do to help you out…"
After telling me to wait, the elder walked towards the door, like the day where he went to get my bonus rewards. Oh, how excited exited I was for what item the old man were to bring to me. I tried to hid that excitement of course, since it's no good expressing my emotions like that. Who knows if the elder might retract his gift if he sees me being happy! There are some people who like seeing others fall into despair, you know… That old man might actually be one of them.
"Sorry if it took me a while. I had to find and select the right items for you." The elder apologized, because more than ten minutes had passed already since his disappearance.
"No problem, as long as the items are good." I assured the old man with a kind smile of mine.
"Tch Tch, you really are one greedy misfit, aren't you?" The old man replied, which made me wonder if the smile of mine looked as scheming as Xiayen would often say it was.
"Am I? No no no… I'm just asking for what I deserve, am I not? If I don't, I'm just letting others take advantage of me." I tried acting innocent and justifiable. I mean, my words were true, weren't they?
"You…" Well, I guess my words didn't seem that reasonable to the old man.
Fortunately, the old man didn't let his anger build its way up. He was able to calm down quickly, as he still needed to give me the items that I needed, and that he still needed to explain the effects of them to me. Of course, I didn't continue to tease the old man, for fear that he might retract the items.
"Other than the PP crystals as your reward, I'll give you two items as an additional reward. The quest is related to you, and therefore, you are allowed these two items." elder Xuan told me before he began to explain the effects of the items.
One of the items, which I was fairly attracted to because of how cool the effects were, is a trinket that could detect a lethal strike towards my body. The second that I might die from an attack, the item will teleport me to where the center of the mountain of Fortune and Opportunities is, which is near the water fountain and the quest board.
The second item, which is also a defensive item, and also my favorite, is an item with an evasive type of effect. The item is a ring that would adjust itself to fit my finger, but what is truly amazing about it, is that it isn't a one time use item like the trinket is. I could make use of the ring until I was old possibly, because it is the type of item that has a cool down. After using the item, I could always use it again, but only after a day after using it. That was what the elder told me at least...
Well… I guess I can now go out for missions. It'll be more dangerous of course, however, that substitute plan of mine should be able to function properly with the danger around me, and with my set of amazing items. It's a perfect strategy, and certainly the best opportunity for me to grow stronger!
