She can finally feel alive. However, when she's thirteen a debt is incurred that may change her new life forever. One that they won't know the repercussions of until she once again turns eighteen. When that debt is called upon, and the payment must be made, Addie finds herself living in the Kingdom of the Werewolves. She must now figure out how to get home and why her new life is different than that of all the other humans in this world. And on top of that, she has found herself in the sight of the Werewolf King. What is it that he wants from her? What is it that he has planned when he summons her to the castle and forces her to live there? **ADDIE'S POV**

I hadn't had a party like that in either of my lives. Not on Earth and not here in Athea. This party was catered for me. It was completely done to honor me. My family back on Earth had loved me, but I was such an emotional and financial drain on them that they just didn't have the energy to put on a party for me. Not that I would have been able to enjoy that party anyway.

And my human family here, they loved me, they still do. And they tried their best to make things perfect. The birthdays that I had with them were amazing as well, but they were different. I don't really know how to explain it. Maybe I just felt like more of a star at this one or something. And I didn't have to worry about anyone or anything at the time. I was safe, the people around me were happy, and I was able to just let go and be me.
