A SAD ENDING

Gabriel woke up, felling his head on the warmth of someone's body.

he didn't bother to check who was in his room. heck, he did not care.

he even snuggled closer. I wish to be here forever. he muttered, as he closed his eyes to continue his sleep in bliss.

get the hell out of my body, he heard his sister's baby like voice. as she pushed his head away from thigh.

why can't any of my wishes come true. he grumbled dramatically, as he stood up from his bed. From the angle he was facing, he could still feel his sister glaring daggers at him.

what? he asked as he turned to face her.

you know what just forget about it, she replied.

now, will you tell me what happened to you she requested.

I came inside here only to meet you on the floor with your body messed up, Your clothes were Thorne and you also had a few broken bone.

I know you will tell me to not bother but then, I can't help it. so please just tell me who did this to you. at this point she was already sobbing.

Angela please don't worry about me. I will be fine.

Don't tell me that. she flared up. this is what you always say whenever I see you like this.

Do you know how I feel when ever I see you like this. do you know how mum will feel if she sees you like this. Gabriel it breaks our heart. so please let us help you.

Gabriel seeing his sister cry like this break him. it's even worse when he knows he is the reason. The reason why she has to suffer so much it's all because of him. Because of his incompetence.

not knowing what to tell her, Gabriel hugged her. it will be okay he assured her. I hope so she muttered still sobbing on his chest. after she sobered, up Gabriel took her hand and led her to the balcony of his room. Where they sat down to watch the sunset.

have been meaning to ask were you the one who cured my injuries Gabriel asked Angela, his sister.

why? you don't want them healed? she asked him.

I was just curious, nothing more he responded.

thought you wanted them back. you know I could return them.

no no. I appreciate you kind gesture but I don't want them back. ha, who was he kidding. his sister is all nice but she is crazy real crazy. And his not taking any chances. just like that, they both sat there watching the sunset, and listening to the cricket in a comfortable silence.

I will be going back to my room now, Angela told him. make sure you come down for dinner okay!

I will, he replied her. and she left his room.

you know sometimes it seems she is the senior amongst the both of us. Gabriel thought as he went to close the door. Gabriel took of his clothes, to take a bath and prepare for the dinner. after some pondering Gabriel decided not to go down for the dinner. he just went into the bathroom to take his bath. After taking his bath, Gabriel took his towel tied it around his waist and entered his room.

Gabriel looked around his room, he was sure that somebody entered his room he was certain of that. though it was not too obvious. they were certain details that some people won't pay attention to, or might not even notice. but Gabriel was someone very attentive, and he pays attention to even the smallest of details, hence he was able to notice them.

Gabriel searched around, his but he did not see anything unusual. It must have been his mother, or sister, yes it have been them, tried Gabriel to convince himself, but somewhere in his mind he knew that somebody who was not his mother or sister, entered his room.

Gabriel decided to overlook his gut feeling and just wear his pyjamas. after wearing his clothes he climbed his bed.

WHAT! THE!! HELL!!! Gabriel screamed as he jumped up from his bed. something was on his bed. he raised the bed sheets up and,

DAMN!! he screamed as he saw the two meter snake on his bed. Gabriel naturally had a fear for snakes, he hated them with all passion. and to make it worst this wasn't one of those animals that is unable to process mana. this was a fucking beast, this was stage two beginners their beast called toxic snake. though I was relatively weak, since it's toxic gas could not really hurt a person. it can put someone, below the Novice stage to sleep, and it has a paralysis effect on people above Novice stage. but as for someone as weak as he was, it's can be really dangerous.

At this point Gabriel was already panicking. he was going through all the possibilities to escape his predicament, but the beast would no give him time to think.

Hiisss!! it hissed as it released the greenish yellow gas on Gabriel. Gabriel felt weak Immediately. he tried to fight against the darkness that was threatening to consume him, but it was futile. Gabriel lost consciousness, knowing fully well that he might not be able to wake up again. that he might not be able to see his sister again. and his mother how will she feel.

I wish i had magic, I wish I wasn't this incompetent, and most of All I wish I wasn't born at all. this was Gabriel last words before he passed out. No body was certain he will ever wake again.
