Chapter 3 - Quirk Awakening

In The Hospital

I was setting on my mother lap in the hospital waiting room, waiting for the doctor to finish her check on nejire while trying to suppress my trembling. I mean how could I not? I was terrified when I saw the golden glow coming out of my sister hand and with the feeling of death that I felt coming, I knew that if it hit us directly it would have cut through me and my parents like hot knife cutting through butter, so without me even wanting it, my body jumped on it own and changed the attack direction.

After that nejire start crying and our parents took us both for a check up in the hospital, and now I have finished mine while nejire are getting her quirk checked out. but until now I couldn't stop myself from trembling from fear of what might had happened if I hadn't acted in time, after all it was my first time in both lives ever coming this close to death, even though my previous life parents didn't care about me they at least kept me safe, and their enemies wouldn't have attaked the 'trash' of the Nagato Group.

While I was lost in my own thought, the door to the room opened and a women with orange hair and red eyes came out of the door while holding her medicals sheet, she looked at my mother with smile, my mother stood up and carried me with her and my father followed suit and we went to the doctor.

"don't worry Ayumi-chan, nejire-chan are completely fine, she's sleeping now since she got tired mentally from the shock, other than awakening her Quirk everything else looks fine to me"

"Sigh, thank you so much for coming on you're holiday Chiyoko-chan, we were just really worried and you're the person I trust the most with these things" said my mother and started talking to her friend while my father entered to check on nejire.

The doctor was Hatanaka Chiyoko, and she has been my mother best friend since elementary school, she's the number one doctor specializing in Quirks in japan since her Quirk is "Quirk Analysis", it allow her to understand what is the nature of the Quirk by examining the patient, which turned her into one of the most the wanted doctors in japan and the surrounding countries.

Then Chiyoko looked at me and smiled.

"well~, if it isn't our little hero~, I heard you saved mommy and daddy today, you're really are going to became a brave hero one day" she spoke tome like how you speak with a baby .

"Ah~,I almost forget about you mister, what were you thinking jumping at the danger like that, you could have gotten yourself injured, if something happened to you I... I..."

After the reminder of her friend, my mother seemed to recall that I was the one who redirected the attack, and she seemed to have wanted to lecture me but she started to get emotional when talking about something happening to me.

Will I couldn't really blame her, she did name me after her late father and always told me that I looked exactly like him, so when she thought about losing me and remembering her father death made her get emotional quickly, so I gently patted her on the shoulder and said with a cheerful childish voice.

"Don't worry mom, nothing will happen to me, I promise I won't do anything to worry you anymore"

"Sigh, it looks like haruto-kun is still very mature for his age, I wonder what kind and how strong a Quirk has to be to influence a child this much this early"

"silly boy, no matter what you do I will always worry about so I might as start getting used to it"

my mother said that and then she hugged me closely, I huged her back and smiled very happy at how my current life was going, I just hope everything stay peaceful for a longer time.

2 year later...

In the back garden of a huge mansion, a 5 year old white hair boy with blue eyes wearing a white colored Shaolin uniform was doing a few martial arts moves, after a few set of moves the boy stopped and went and sat on a nearby bench to drink some water from a water bottle, of course it was no other than Haruto.

It's been two years since nejire awakened her Quirk and she had turned seven a few months ago and have been attending elementary school for a year now, which also mean I have turned 5 years old last month, but I still haven't awakened my Quirk.

My parents are worried that I might be Qurikless, not because they will love me less, but they're just worried I'm going to be depressed since I have been telling them I want to be a hero ever since I was little, they even asked aunt chiyoko to check on me but she couldn't find anything.

But I told them not to worry about it and that I'm completely fine. they didn't believe me obviously, they think that I'm just pretending for their sake.

But I was really fine, I know that I have a Quirk because the angel, Rhea-san, said that I have not only one Quirk but two, one will awaken at the age of 5, which should be any time soon, and the other at the age of 10, so there were seriously no reason for me to worry.

After I finished my break I stood up to continue my martial art practice, I have asked my parents to hire someone to teach me all kinds of martial arts, I told them it was for self defense and other lies I can't remember, they agreed and even tried to make nejire to learn with me, but she soon gave up saying it was too hard, she sure was lazy. After I stood up something appeared in my field of vision.

Just as I finished reading the floating screens Infront of me, my eyes widened as I feel limply to the ground.

PAIN

A UNBEARABLE PAIN

It was so painful that I couldn't even scream, I felt as if an egg appeared inside my abdomen pushing away at my organs, after that I felt as if there are ants coming out of that egg, slowly digging it's way through my body to my arms, legs, head, then I felt the 'ants' heading to my heart, I panicked but before I could try anything the pain stoped and I lost consciousness.
