Chapter 8

Eventhough it was the first day of Dr John Graciano's clinic,it was a blast. They started at exactly 9 am for their 1st patient and now it is exactly 1 pm and there are still in the line. The two love birds can do is just look and smile with each other. Mike, Myra, and Bella didn't have their chances to interrogate the two. Atlast, exactly 3 pm, finally, their last patient. Eventhough their both tired, still they have the energy to assist the last patient. "Good afternoon doctor!" Said the old lady. "Good afternoon too granny!" John said smiling. "Your so handsome doctor! If you won't mind can I ask if you have a girlfriend or a wife? I have a beautiful grand daughter who is very available. She's a doctor too but still on her moonlighting stage." The granny said which made Alexa arched her brows as high as the sky looking at John who is also looking at her with a teasing smile. "Oh Im sorry granny but Im already taken by a wonderful woman!" John said while smiling sweetly to Alexa. "That so sad, my grand daughter is really beautiful and you two could make a perfect couple." Granny said. "Doc, this is the history of our granny here so if you could start the check up it would be better." Alexa said seriouly without looking at granny who's looking at her with questions in her wrinkled face. John can't stop his chuckles because of the bratiness Alexa showed. He knows that Alexa is a respectful lady but maybe because the granny cross the line, she can't stop the witch inside her. "By the way granny, the wonderful lady that holds my heart is that woman." John said while pointing Alexa. The granny was surprised and all she can do is to apologize. Alexa felt that her face turned red because of shyness but it sent a great excitement to her heart that John is letting others know of their relationship.

And the clinic ended. While organizing the files of the patient, Alexa was surprised when John hug her tightly. "Hey, someone might come and see us!" Alexa said trying to let go of herself from his hug. "Im really tired and I just wanted to energize." John said while starting to kiss the back of her neck. She froze because the tender kisses of John sent electricity to her whole body. Alexa just sigh and let him do the energizing. After kissing the back of her neck, he turned Alexa and now their facing each other, John slowly reach Alexa's lips and kisses her passionately. His hands are wandering on Alexa's body and make her moan softly. A knock made them stop of their intimacy. John felt frustrated and become more when he saw his cousin coming inside the room, grinning. "Your really a nuisance bro!" John said. "What are the two of you doing that made me a nuisance?" Mike said while looking at Alexa that made her really blushed. "Im charging my energy!" John said that made Alexa blush more. "The two of you, will you stop teasing me!" Alexa said. And the room was filled with the laughter of the two handsome cousins. "Men!" She said to herself.

Another knock came outside the door. Alexa open it and saw her two besties. "Doc John, can we borrow our friend here, we have some things to discuss." Myra said. "Yes doc, we have a lot of things to talk too." Followed by Bella giggling. "Ok ladies, please take good care of my wifey. I'll fetch her after an hour. John said while winking to Alexa. Alexa just rolled her eyes but felt happy hearing the word wifey. And the ladies went out going to the cafe near the hospital leaving the two guys inside the room. "Lets go!" John said to Mike. "Where?" Mike asked. "I thought auntie wanted to talk about something?" John said with his forehead creased. "Oh,that, mommy cancelled it because she has an important matter to deal with and she taught that your clinic is still going on but as a matter of fact your really done but busy of something else." Mike said while grinning. "So, what's between you and Alexa?" Mike asked. "We're dating!" John said proudly. "How about Tricia?" Mike said that made John's face serious. "We're done, I told her that before living from the States." John aswered. "But we both know Tricia, she will not let you go off that easily." Mike said with a warning tone. "I saw her post on her instagram with another guy and I think she had move on." John said. "Im not against you and Alexa. I'm really happy coz you two really love each other but please don't you dare hurt her because when you do, I'll be the first to knock you down. Mike said in a serious way. "I will not hurt her. I will do everything to protect her. I'll forever love her and only her." John said as if making a vow that he will not break what ever happens.
