New beginning

"Good morning bilu" Han Lina greeted immediately she saw her descending the stairs in the morning. she is Han bilu's elder sister and a close confidant of hers whom she always shares every of her day to day gossip with. Especially her daily obsessions of stalking brother mubai, taking his pictures, cooking for him and every of her crazies.

Her beloved elder sister would always encourage and egg her on and she in turn, always thought Lina loved her alot and clearly indulges her, but now..after what she discovered last night....'tsk tsk she clearly took me for a fool all those while' Han bilu mocked herself.

''Good morning elder sis" bilu greeted back and strolled to her parents who were already sitted in the dining room clearly waiting for the latter so they can all have breakfast together. It was a daily ritual of the Han family to begin their day with a breakfast together and end their day with dinner. 'what a perfect family ' bilu mused in her head.

" Good morning Daddy and mummy "

Walking to stand beside her parents, "muah! muah!" she greeted both with a peck on their cheek. Mother Han and Father Han both gave her their signature sweet smiles that, if it was still yesterday afternoon she would have been all in high spirit by now. 'Gosh I didn't think people could have such a pretentious side to them,I feel like peeling those mask off their faces right now and exposing their true nature but, I can't do that yet. I still have alot of preparation beforehand to do in order to prevent their evil scheme against me, and to find evidence of their evil deeds all these years. But before then,I can't fall out with them...remember that bilu! you can't afford to fall out with them right now! so be calm and keep smiling honey'. Han bilu thought to herself as kept giving herself some pep talk in order not loose her cool.

"Bilu dear ,so tell me what's your day going to be like today?" asked mother Han as she keeps putting different foods on her plate.

"so so" "why mummy, do you have something for me today?" bilu asked as she ate the food already piled up on her plate by mother Han.

"mm,I want you to accompany me to the opening of my friend's spa at noon today.

"uhmm.." bilu stuttered clearly hesitating about something.

"what dear, do you have something on?" asked mother Han as she noticed bilu clearly hesitating. "you see mummy, it's just that I'll have to pick up Lu man from the airport by noon. And after that, we'll be going shopping as Lu man doesn't have anything to wear for the party this evening sooo.." Bilu didn't finish her words but they immediately understood.

Lu Man is one of Bilu's best friends and they both grew up together but got separated after Lu Man was sent to study abroad by her parents. But even then, they still kept in contact and chat with each other at least once a day unfailingly. It was during one of such chats yesterday that Lu man after noticing her best friend bilu's dazed look and puffy eyes that was obviously as a result of crying, asked bilu to pick her up from the airport tomorrow and that she was coming back for the party tonight.

Bilu knew that her friend was coming back earlier because of her and not the party and she was touched because she really needed someone to confide in right now and her friend Lu man was that person.

"oh okay, do have fun dear and don't forget to bring her over to the house tonight for dinner as its been long I saw that child and I miss her". said mother Han.

"okay mummy I'll do just that " Han bilu said as she put down her cutlery and stood up " I'll take my leave now mum, dad" .

Mother Han looked at the untouched dishes in front of Han bilu and persuaded " My dear, are you not feeling well? you hardly touched your meal "

"Am okay mummy, I just don't have an appetite right now. I'll just grab a bite later when I get hungry "

"Let her be mum, she's probably so happy about Lu mans arrival that she lost her sleep last night and I'm sure she'll be fine after getting a nap" Her elder sister Han Lina persuaded her mum.

"Lina is right honey" father Han added. he turned to bilu and said "alright bilu do have fun today with your friend and buy whatever you want and if the money in your card isn't enough, daddy will transfer more money to your card" he quipped with a benevolent smile on his face.

Ofcourse Han bilu is not stupid, she will never reject money. Most especially now, when she has a lot of need for it after finding out their true colours.

She has a lot to do and that includes money so she will never let the chance to get some extra cash pass her by. And that too when she rightfully deserves it!. "Thanks Daddy. I'll take my leave now then ". bilu said as she made her way up the stairs.

" see you later little sis " Han Lina quipped with a smile on her face as she was clearly in a good mood that morning and bilu knew the reason for her happiness.

" see you soon elder sis" came the reply from bilu while still making her way up the stairs. Looking at her elder sister smiling face, Han bilu was inwardly seething with anger. ' keep smiling elder sister because very soon, I'll make sure to wipe that smile off your pretentious face *sister* ' she smirked.

Han Lina was confused about the smirk on her face and her words, but ultimately didn't put much thought on it as she was too happy about the event tonight and what will happen. Just thinking about the various scenarios on her head and everyones expression is already making her so giddy ' see you soon my love Mubai ' she thought .
