The Five Knights

Quiet settled over Mistveil, broken only by the small trails of rubble cascading down from the city walls where Cole and the Corrupted Wyvern had fallen. The smoke lingered, thick and suffocating, veiling the aftermath of the gruesome battle.

In the midst of the destruction, Cole sat in the small crater he had created against the city wall, his body battered and weary.

As the smoke slowly began to clear, the hushed steps of people cautiously approached. The citizens, unsure if the monstrous Wyvern might rise again, moved with a mix of fear and relief. A somber tension hung in the air, palpable even as the city slowly revealed the extent of its wounds.

And then, breaking the silence, a smirk curled on Cole's lips.

With five gleams visible from the Official Building of Mistveil that were quickly followed by a screech from the shockwave they caused, five silhouettes landed near the fallen Wyvern.
