That was not a small amount of money and Michelle was very much aware of that.
Due to her rage earlier, she hadn't seen the alimony.
"What?! Do you want more?" Richard questioned her. When she didn't respond, he grumbled, "You're greedy!"
"If you think we're still going to accept you as the daughter-in-law of this family, then you are sorely mistaken," Mrs. Wallace interjected, her voice sharp with disdain. "We've seen everything on the internet, and having you tied to this family will only drag our name through the mud. You'll bring nothing but shame!"
Michelle had to think about the situation for a moment.
Not having the Wallace family as a strong background would be a really big loss since the Harrison family had nothing to call their own again.
