Chapter 6: A Farewell

(Arthur: POV)

Before I knew it time flew by and Rudeus and I were already five years old.

During this time I learned that while Rudeus had a preference toward water and earth-based magic I had a preference for fire and wind-based magic.

I also realized that just like Paul, and thanks to my character template, I had a natural talent with the sword.

So while I didn't intend start shirking my magic training I did begin to put more emphasis into swordsmanship.

Which made Paul ecstatic.

I guess he was happy to have a kid interested in becoming a swordsman just like him.

Which is partly true, since I do intend to make swordanship my main focus going forward.

But like I said I won't simply ignore my magic training either.

To put simply I intend to become a magic swordsman.

I can't wait to see people's faces when I unveil myself.

I'm sure it will be quite the sight.

Standing in the front yard of our home I swung the sword Paul gifted me for mine and Rudeus' fifth birthday, just like he gave to my brother, and practiced the basics of the North God Style.

Paul having taught me the basics of the Sword God and Water God styles as well.

Since I picked up the basics of the North God Style so easily.

Not that I'm bragging or anything.

Well ok, maybe I am bragging s tiny bit.

But even if I am don't mistake it for arrogance.

I know that right now in the grand scheme of this world I am nothing but a tiny sapling surrounded by giant ancient trees.

That's why no matter my natural talent I'll always put in hard work to achieve what I want.

I continued practicing the basics of the North God Style for a bit longer before stopping and switching over to the basic movements of the Sword God Style.

I then finished up my daily sword training by performing the basics of the Water God Style.

Once I completed my practice of those techniques I placed my sword back into its sheathe secured on my left hip.

I then headed just outside the stone fence of our home and began running around if.

Since now that sword practice is over and done with its time for my daily body building regiment.

100 sit-ups

100 push-ups

100 squats

Finally a 10 kilometer run.

Which has not made me bald like a certain superhero.

What the training regiment has done is help me start to develop muscles, endurance, and copious amounts of stamina.

The stamina I build going to be handy in more ways than one.

If you get my meaning.

Hehehe.

But stuff like that is for the future.

It also won't occur until me and my chosen partner are at least 13 years old or older.

Since unlike the nobles of the Asura Kingdom, and even Rudeus, I have no desire for any pedo antics.

So sorry in advance to any ladies. I'm not giving up my chastity that easily.

Even if someone like the 'switch princess' Ariel came onto me.

At least for now.

Finishing my run moved onto completing the sets of push-ups, sit-ups, and squats in that order.

Collapsing on the ground right after I completed my last squat.

I then cast a quick healing spell on myself to lessen the muscle fatigue, but not completely get rid of it.

Otherwise my muscles won't properly develop.

After casting the spell I lied on the ground for a bit before picking myself up and heading inside.

Entering I started making my way to my room.

But stopped at the entrance to Lilias'.

"Hah~"

Since I heard her moaning in a lewd way.

Peaking through Lilias' cracked door I saw our maid pleasuring her with her right hand, while holding a stained sheet with her left hand and sniffing it.

One guess who the sheet belongs too.

'Just as I thought.' I thought.

Resolving myself I prepared to head to mine and Rudeus' room to finally find a solution to the coming 'NTR arc' as I call it.

Only to stop in my tracks when I heard Lilia speak once more.

"Mhm. Lady Zenith, no~"

'Wait...What???'

"Nh. Master Paul not so hard. Lady Zenith, please be gentler." Lilia moaned.

Hearing such things my brain shut down and was filled with the blue exe screen for a second before re-booting.

Once it did I quickly made my way to mine and Rudeus' room and went to lie on my bed.

Thinking about what I just heard.

Seems Lilia wouldn't mind doing "that" with both Paul and Zenith.

Who would've guessed.

Then again polygamy is more the norm in this world than monogamy.

The only reason Paul and Zenith are exclusive is because the latter is a faithful Millis follower.

But that won't be for much longer.

Standing at the front entrance of my home along with Rudeus I felt a sadness well inside of me.

Since today is the day Roxy departs.

For yesterday Rudeus and I passed her graduation exam.

He cast the saint-class magic [Cumulonimbus] while I went with the saint-class wind magic [Violent Storm].

Roxy having passed both Rudeus and I with flying colors.

"Rudeus, Arthur I had fun these past few years being your teacher. Also don't be sad. I'm sure we'll see each other again someday." Roxy told us.

Which I know is true.

But still.

"Right. Understood master." I spoke.

"Yes. Thank you for everything master Roxy." Rudeus spoke. "So master, what will you do next?"

"I think I'll go back to adventuring for a while and home my magic. I can't let my students surpass me after all." Roxy spoke. " Oh, and there will come a time you two when your progress in magic will likely stagnate. So when it does I suggest you both enroll in the Ranoa Magic University." She spoke.

Roxy then gave us a brief description of Rudeus' future school.

As for me I'm not sure if I'll attend the university.

Though fhere a place in the nothern lands I do want to go to one day.

Where I can truly hone my swordsmanship.

Anyway, Roxy finished up her description and then gave me and Rudeus each a necklace recognizable in her homeland.

She then left.

Then as if he was a protagonist straight of our a romance movie Rudeus began running after Roxy and saying sweet things.

Like how he would truly marry her in the future.

Little does Rudeus know how right he is.

I just hope I can find someone for myself in this world one day.

Well I've got plenty of time.

Once Roxy was fully gone Rudeus came back.

When he did so I gently patted his left shoulder.

"Brother, don't be sad. I'm sure we'll see master Roxy again someday and when we do you can marry her and make all the babies you want." I told him.

"Right. Thanks Arthur." He replied.

"Sure, no problem." I said.

I then guided Rudeus back inside and to our room.

Finding Lilia holding the pair of Roxy's panties Rudeus stole a few months ago.

Turning towards us I immediately pointed a thumb towards Rudeus.

Lilia responded with an "of course".

While Rudeus began looking like his soul would leave his body.

But it's his own fault for not hiding his goddesses treasure better.

So now he's facing the consequences of his actions.

A/N: So about Lilia masturbating to both Paul and Zenith. Like I said before this Mushoku Tensei story will have several AU elements. Such as the one shown in this chapter.
