Chapter 7: Invisible Air & Sylphiette

Ragged breaths coming out of my mouth, I worked to steady my breathing.

Once I did so I re-focused on the task at hand.

Raising my sword with both hands I began focusing wind magic around it.

Ignoring the small windstorm I had created around me I focused on compressing the wind tighter and tighter around my blade like a sheathe.

Picturing the image I wanted in my mind I worked my magic to make it a reality.

Really thankful for the teachings of Roxy.

Otherwise what I'm attempting right now wouldn't have even been possible for me for another 8 to 10 years by my own calculations.

But that is no longer the case.

Keeping my focus I finally succeeded in compressing wind around the blade of my sword like a sheathe.

Once I did so I began moving onto the next step.

Adding more layers of compressed wind around the blade of my sword like a sheathe.

I have no clue how much time passed as I worked on this.

But while I did so I could slowly feel my mana draining in droves.

Still I ignored the sensation and did not stop what I was attempting for I felt I was close.

"Come on. Just a bit more." I told myself.

Feeling my goal was in hand.

Then a few seconds after I did so I achieved it.

Using wind magic to turn the blade of my sword invisible to the naked eye.

I had successfully re-created the magic [Invisible Air] from the Fate Franchise.

"Ha, yes!!" I cried.

Canceling my spell immediately after I did.

I then collapsed on the ground next to the tree on the hill which I used for training [Invisible Air].

For when doing so I did not want any distractions.

Of which there were many around my home.

Namely Paul, who would likely start giving me a speech on trying to combine magic and swordsmanship.

Which I would of course ignore.

But I would rather not hear it in the first place.

Hence why I have been working on [Invisible Air] here alone.

Today marking my first successful activation of the spell.

But I've still got a long ways to go in regards to it.

For instance, being able to apply the spell during combat.

That is a whole different story in and of itself.

But it's a story I will begin nonetheless.

Having recovered from [Invisible Air] training I picked myself up off the ground.

I then did my basic swordmanhip training in all three sword styles before making my way home.

Today having been a good day.

--------------------------

*Boom! Boom!*

Looking out my bedroom window I saw small thunderbolts dance across the sky.

Right in the middle of the raging winds and downpour of rain that was occuring.

Simply put, a thunderstorm.

After watching the storm for a bit longer I laid down on my bed and got ready to practice a little with my magic.

Only for the door to the room to open up and two people to enter inside.

The first being Rudeus.

While second is another of his future wives, Sylphiette.

[Insert Image of Sylphiette here]

Though right now Rudeus thinks she is a boy.

Which I really can't blame him for now that I am seeing Sylphiette up close and personal.

She isn't really giving off any feminine charm in the slightest.

Noticing my gaze Rudeus and Sylphiette looked in my direction.

"Hello there." I spoke.

"Oh hello brother." Rudeus replied. "Am this is my friend Sylph."

"It's a pleasure to meet you Sylph." I spoke.

Since this is our first actual meeting.

For although I play and train with Rudeus quite a bit we aren't glued together at the hip.

"Yes. Nice to meet you to. Arthur right?" Sylphiette spoke.

"Yes, that's correct." I replied.

I then conversed with the pair a bit more before turning over in my bed and pretending to head off to sleep.

Smirking when I heard Sylphiette cry out and Rudeus receive a small slap to the face for his actions.

Once again facing the consequences of his actions.

-------------------------

"Mhmm!!"

Rudeus groaned into his pillow the following night.

Me ignoring him while reading a magic tome.

"I can't believe I did that." He muttered.

When he did I released a short sigh and shut the magic tome. I then turned in his direction.

"Enough Rudeus. You made a mistake for sure. Now just own up to it and apologize. If you're man then take responsibility." I told him.

Then before he could retort I turned over in my bed and started going to sleep.

Hoping Rudeus would take my advice.

------------------------------

The following day my hopes were proven true as Rudeus took my advice and made up with Sylphiette.

Who even invited me to play with them.

An invitation I had no problem accepting.
