Saeko quickly opened the chat group, the total number of participants was 2 but since it was her world, she was automatically selected leaving only a single spot left.
[Akito ∆: Has everyone read the Quest?]
[Akito ∆: Saeko, are you okay?]
[Saeko: Yes, I'm fine.]
[Xia Qingye: Zombies?]
[Akito ∆: They are similar to undead. Mindless beasts that attack without sanity. What's sad is that they were originally human.]
[Sasuke: Is a Zombie Apocalypse that bad?]
[Akito ∆: Sasuke... It's not the zombies that are terrifying, it's the way they spread, if they bit someone then that person too would become a zombie.]
[Sasuke: ...]
[Akito ∆: Not to mention that everyone is trapped and are normal humans. The population on earth is 7 billion. Now just imagine such a number of zombies roaming around in your world. Of course, it's an exaggeration but at least I think a billion is enough to worry about.]
Honestly, the situation wasn't as bad as Akito described it since many natural factors affected the zombies from gathering together in such a number!
It was impossible.
The Sea was a natural deterrence against zombies.
Countryside locations, Uninhabited Islands, Safe Bunkers, etc. There were many safe places as long as they could guarantee a steady supply of food.
...
Sasuke who saw the message pop up trembled after reading it.
But he knew that it wasn't that bad, since Akito who was just a normal human with only martial arts described them as weak.
There were a lot of strong people that could easily defend against it in his world.
But the world would still plunge into chaos by such an astronomical amount!
But this didn't fade his excitement to join the mission, they just had to find out the reason for it. It's not like they had to wipe out every zombie or clear the zombie apocalypse, right?
[Xia Qingyue: Who would use such an evil art in the world they live in? What kind of foolishness is this?]
She was honestly surprised, Undead were a product of evil cultivation and experiments but Saeko had said that her world only had weak humans and no powers which confused her.
If they didn't use something similar to evil arts, how were they going to create such a plague? It couldn't be due to Nature itself, right? How were they supposed to find the reason behind it then?
...
Stain too was looking at the chat and furrowed his brows. He too was from the modern world so how could he not know what zombies were and how they operated?
It was pretty clear that the zombies shouldn't be too strong since the chat group expected the participants to be able to kill a thousand zombies. Which meant they were no different than mob zombies.
But what made him shake his head was the Main Quest.
To find the reason for a zombie apocalypse while stuck in one country was near impossible! What if the virus or cause of it was from some faraway country? How would they discover it?
It was an easy but near-impossible mission depending on one's luck.
'Was Akito lying when said the missions shouldn't be too hard or is he also surprised, even as the admin?' He chuckled in wonder.
He had barely known Saeko for a few hours, so he didn't care what she and her world was facing.
Why would he abandon his world where he had countless things to do and probably get stuck in a zombie-plagued world?
***
Akito noticed that Saeko and Stain weren't talking much. He didn't know how bothered Saeko was from the news but,
Stain...
He wasn't exactly how sure sane or smart Stain was. Was his mind filled with thoughts of killing heroes every second or was he was a rational person? He didn't have a photographic memory so he didn't remember everything in detail.
But he chuckled, "I'll just check his information on the Boku no hero fandom later."
[Akito ∆: I'm willing to participate in this Quest.]
[Saeko: Thank you.]
Akito tilted his head in confusion as no one said anything besides Saeko. His eyes passed by the admin icon and paused.
'Wait, They aren't thinking that I'm using my authority as an admin to forcefully take the quest?' He knew he might be overthinking but he didn't want any bad feelings in the group.
They might have to do group quests later and how could he trust his back to a team in which members didn't trust each other? Not to mention future missions would turn extremely chaotic if the members refused to work together properly.
[Akito ∆: Honestly, As the admin, even if I have a certain privilege it comes with quite the downside. As the admin, I have to participate in every accepted Quest unless I'm injured or something similar.]
This was a lie.
But there was another thing he hadn't mentioned before he accepts or denies quests others can't either.
This was extremely selfish but Akito didn't mind, he knew that he was selfish and if he could gain such an obvious benefit from a simple lie, he wouldn't mind.
So unless he denies doing a quest he would always be able to participate in the mission if he wanted but he couldn't so blatantly garner envy and jealousy so he made up a quick excuse that would make them instead feel a little pity for him.
After all, With every quest there was a possible chance for Akiro not being able to return to his world.
[Akito ∆: But I also believe this is for the best regarding this mission. I believe Xia Qingyue and Sasuke derive most of their power from Profound Energy and Chakra respectively, right?]
Xia Qingyue immediately understood what he was implying and broke out in cold sweat. How had she overlooked such an obvious thing?
Saeko said her world was relatively normal.
Thus there would probably be no special energy in her world, not to mention Profound Energy. Even though she wouldn't be weak without Profound Energy but any cultivator without it was no different from a cripple!
She immediately retracted any thoughts she had towards the mission.
[Xia Qingyue: I understand.]
She narrowed her eyes, 'Wouldn't this become a problem for almost every world in the future besides mine?'
Would she not be able to do quests?
Sasuke was confused, "What?"
Honestly, he wanted to participate but since Akito had shown interest in it he was somewhat hesitant. He remembered that Saeko had said that Admins have special privileges.
[Sasuke: Yes, But you know that already.]
[Akito ∆: You're forgetting that Saeko's world is similar to mine and that there would be no chakra to use. How confident are you in your strength without chakra?]
"Ah? No chakra?"
No chakra meant he couldn't use his Justus or his Sharingan! These were the only reason he was still confident in taking on the quest.
[Sasuke: Doesn't that mean I can't do any future quests as well??]
He became depressed.
[Akito ∆: Don't worry don't worry, The system notified me that after the Quest was completed the Dimensional Chat Group would level up and evolve, after evolving the chat group would provide us with the energy we need and endlessly supply us! Basically, you won't find it any different from your own world!]
This was the second information he received as the Admin!
This immediately relieved Xia Qingyue and Sasuke.
[Sasuke: Okay then.]

Though Akito was forced to help her world, in the end he would be helping her. Saeko who thanked Akito put down her phone and looked at the sky through her window in silence.
"If the swordsman knew that his second world would also turn chaotic, he wouldn't have killed himself right?" She muttered with a stoic expression and got up to prepare some things.
As for warning people she knew, that was just stupid, who would even believe her?
***
Akito smiled and put the phone down.
He had reasons of his own to believe that he wouldn't get trapped in Saeko's world.
Firstly, He still believed that the chat group wouldn't give an unreasonable quest, and, secondly, the protagonist was from Japan and everyone knew the world revolved around the main characters.
So even if they couldn't find the cure, they could at least find the reason in Japan. But Akito wouldn't stick around the protagonist and babysit him, he had better things to do.
But even then he wasn't dumb enough to place his trust in these two ideas. His main motive was to get in contact with the blonde clumsy doctor's friend that was in the military.
He reckoned she would definitely have some clues. Perhaps the quest might take as little as a month or even as long as a few years.
Akito looked at the portrait of his and Yuna on the wall and sighed.
