8 First Quest!

[A/N]~ I'm very annoyed, I had actually written this chapter yesterday but after I clicked on a WhatsApp notification, I found out the draft Inwas writing had disappeared after I returned to the app. It hadn't even been a minute!

I wrote this chapter with bitter feeling so it's a bit short but I'll release another chapter in an about an hour so don't worry!

(3) Kill 1000 Zombies.

(4) Secure a safe-hold]

[Note- Extra Rewards Would Be Given Depending On The Completion Of The Sub-Quests!]

[Time Remaining Before Zombie Apocalypse- 7 Days!]

[Maximum Number Of Participants- 1 (2)]

[Time Left To Decide Participants- 29:59 minutes!]

[The Participants Will Be Randomly Selected If No Choice Is Made And Sent To The Designated World Unless The Quest Is Rejected!]

[Warning! Participants Can Not Return To Their Original World Unless The Main Quest Is Completed!]

Akito was stunned by the barrage of messages and read through them. His face turned expressionless as he fell in thought.

His phone buzzed thrice and he looked at it again.

His eyes focused on the three extra messages he just received and smiled.

Xia Qingyue suddenly paled and she started coughing loudly. She was close to another breakthrough but suddenly a loud gong echoed within her mind, disrupting her cultivation.

This caused her Qi Deviation!

Chu Yueli who was sitting in front of her frowned. "Qingyue... What's wrong? Is there something troubling you? Don't hesitate in asking me for help, Remember Qingyue, I'm your Master,"

Ever since a few hours ago Xia Qingyue had been behaving strangely.

When she found out that Qingyue had gained the Heavenly God's Spiritual Veins she was ecstatic and her heart thumped with joy.

But she noticed Qingyue sometimes fell in a daze and now she suddenly faced Qi Deviation without any outside interference!

This caused her to grow worried, extremely worried.

Worried that Qingyue had used some forbidden method to open all of her Profound Entrances.

Xia Qingyue wiped the slight blood at the edge of her lips and said calmly,

"I'm fine Master, trust me. Qingyue would never harm herself for quick progress. I just couldn't control the large amounts of Profound energy I hastily absorbed."

This somewhat soothed Chu Yueli's worries but she was still skeptical.

'The wedding is in a month, After Qingyue has fulfilled her promise I'll immediately take her back to Frozen Moon Palace.' She thought decisively. How could she bear seeing a talent such as Xia Qingyue being buried here?

Xia Qingyue closed her eyes and looked inside her mind. Every time a message appeared in the chat she felt a slight buzz in her head which felt like a breeze but why was this 'message' different from the others?

Sasuke was playing around with his newly unlocked Three-Tomoe Sharingan but his hand which was about to shoot the kunai halted and he willed for the floating screen to appear.

As he read through the large number of messages his eyes lit up. Wasn't this the reason he joined the chat group? For rewards and powers?

Now that the chance had come he somewhat anticipated it.

But there were still several questions he felt like asking in the chat to the others.

Akito wiped his face and slowly read through the 'First Quest'.

"Highschool of The Dead..."

As he read the objective of the first quest he quickly whipped his phone out and started searching for information regarding the Highechool Of The Dead.

He had only watched the anime and thus didn't know what happened after.

As he scrolled through the internet his pupils dilated to the size of needles, "The author's dead...?"

High School Of The Dead was an unfinished story!

He hadn't bothered checking anything about it after the anime ended.

"So, I can't cheat my way out of it?" He muttered sadly. He truly wanted to join the quest even if it was only one participant because as the admin he had received three pieces of extra information and the first one was,

[Time In The Original World Will Be Frozen!]

This enticed his greed for power. Unlike Sasuke, Stain, and Xia Qingyue he couldn't increase his strength in his original world. To him, other worlds' power systems and system rewards were the most beneficial.

He was also the one with the least combat experience, probably none!

To him, zombies were the best training puppets. The zombies in the high school of the dead weren't exactly threatening to him, the only problem would be if he was swarmed.

He looked at his body and grumbled, "Why did I never exercise?" If only he wasn't so lazy.

"I'll abuse the shit out of this frozen time." Since their original bodies will be traversed over he would train the fuck out.

He quickly opened the chat group.

Saeko who was having lunched suddenly trembled and opened the message with an ominous premonition in her heart.

After she read through it she suddenly flinched.

"Apocalypse?"

She felt horror grip her heart but... but there was faint excitement that even she didn't notice!

Her world was going to delve into terror and chaos!
