chapter 21~ Amulet

Ace pov

I wake up with the incredibly bad headache. I blinked my eyes from the light of the sun being bright in my eyes. Trying to remember what happened last night all of a sudden memories come flashing back to me. Me and Aly went to a bar that had just opened up yesterday.

Deciding to get up and get some Advil for my hangover I go to get up. Only to realize I can't because of weight on my chest I looked down to see Aly sleeping peacefully on my chest. Not wanting to wake her up I slowly get out from under her and place a pillow to replace my chest.

Walking down to the kitchen grab two glasses of water and four Advils. I take to the Advils and down my glass of water. I then head upstairs with the other two Advils and the other glass of water and put it on the nightstand for Aly when she wakes up. I then write a note letting her know that I have some Alpha things I have to do.

Once I'm done writing a letter I leave it on my pillow. I head into the walk-in closet. I grab a black T-shirt and some jeans. I've then walk into the bathroom and take a shower real quickly. Once I'm done taking a shower I get dressed and head downstairs to grab my keys.

I hop into my blue mustang and head over to the pack house. As I pull up in I expected to see Raven's car but as usual it's not there anymore. It's hard knowing my best friend is now with my sister at her pack. I miss him incredibly but I know he's happy with my sister hopefully.

But I have a feeling my sister's going to make him work for her forgiveness for running out on her and they found out they were mate. Because that's exactly what my sister would do with how she is. She stubborn and smart. Sometimes it's hard to believe that she's the same person I left years ago.

The same girl who would watch our father beat us the same girl who would watch our father beat me. she has grown so much. I wish I would have stayed to see her grow up. But if I had stayed I would of never made my pack and met my beautiful mate aly. And she would never have become who she is today.

Becoming how I am today took a lot of self-discovery. I remember when I started the pack. It was the day I found Ally and Raven. They had been camping in the woods I was staying in. At the time they had just ran away from their pack. To this day I don't know which pack or the story on why they left. They wanted to keep it in the past.

When we started the pack Raven had made aly promise not to tell anyone his real name. I only know his first name not his last name. But he made me promise not to ever call him it. Soon after the pack was made he started going by Raven Rain.

Getting out of my car I go inside the park and walk to my office. I open the door I see my office ram sacked. Every thing was a mees. a single envelope was tape to the balcony door. I carefully walk over to the door without steping on anything.

I open the letter to see unfamiliar hand writing. That was in a neatly written letter. The letter read.

Dear Ace Monroe

Sarry about the mess but I'm in need of something you have. I could not find it here so I will continue to look on you pack. I do hope you understand stand that Im just here for my  property. I do not wish you or your pack harm.

After Reading the letter I immediately know what the so called E is looking for. When we found this land for the pack. We also found a magic artifact. The artifact is a simple amulet. It's a bloodstone on an Elf gold chain. Elf gold is very rare. Elves were famous for their elf gold before their whole species went extinct. Now that elves have been extinct for over a thousand years of gold is very rare to find.

But elf gold is not as hard to find a bloodstone. It is said that bloodstone can only be found by the purest of souls. Very few has ever found a blood Stone. It is said when the purest of souls do fine a bloodstone. They are granted great power but if the bloodstone was to get into the wrong hands it could cause destruction.

After we had found the bloodstone amulet. Aly I put it in to a magical safe that was locked by blood magic. Only her or a relative of hers could open. Not knowing who the bloodstone belong to. We were worried it would get into the wrong hands.

We tried finding the ambulance books of ancient artifacts. But we had no luck. Nowhere and I mean nowhere could we find anything about this amulet. After looking for a clue of who it belonged to for two years. We had given up on this Earth.

How I know this is what this E characters looking for is it is the only artifact in my entire pack grounds. I don't even know where the safe is. Aly had made sure only she knew where it was. She had waited until Raven and I were asleep before sneaking out and hiding the amulet. When she had come back the next morning. We had asked her where she had been.

All she had told us was that she had hit it somewhere on the backgrounds in a safe bided by blood magic. She refused to tell us exactly where it was saying if someone came looking for it we would be safe because we wouldn't know it where it was.

Of course I was not happy about this decision because I put her in danger but there was nothing I could do. To this day I still do not know where the amulet is. I guess that's a good thing at times like this. I don't know who this E fellow is. But I really do need to find out who this guy is and fast. Who knows what type of danger he brings.

After a few hours my office finally look like it did when I left it last night. I can't believe it was ramstacked to the point it took hours to fix and everybody else was busy so they couldn't help me. I had to fix my office all by myself I don't have Raven for anybody to help. Speaking of which now I have to find a new beta.

Don't get me wrong finding a beta is hard work. But sometimes they just fall into your life. I should probably also let my sister know that there's a rogue running around my territory and then it might have passed through hers. Let the day of chores begin.
