chapter 16~Return home

Alex pov

I wake up in a terrible mood from what happened yesterday. Saying I roll over and get out of bed walk into the closet and she was my outfit for today. Once I've got my outfit I go and hop into the shower. For some odd reason I was compelled to use my cookies and cream shampoo and conditioner and body wash that I only use when there's another special event going on.

Once I was done in the shower I finally put on my clothes the outfit I chose was a leather tube top and some leather shorts then I top it off with my leather jacket. I then put on A pair of my leather combat boots.



Once I was done getting dressed I head out the door down to the dining room to get breakfast. As I open the door I see hope is about to knock. We head down to the dining room together. Once was there I see Chris hope goes and sits next to him. I look around and see everybody's here even my mate. He still hasn't looked at me in the eyes since I came in.

I find it empty seat away from everybody and sit down. Just then the omega's come with the breakfast we all thank them and they had back to the kitchen. There was pancakes waffles and French toast as the main dishes for breakfast. There was also bacon eggs and sausage and hash browns and even some ham for the sides. I put two pieces of French toast on my plate along with bacon ham and eggs.

I start to eat not paying attention to anybody else. Every once in awhile I'd look up to see what my mate was doing. He would sneak glances every once in awhile but mainly just focused on his food. I continue to ignore him like I have the whole week. I know it's kind of rude and kind of mean to ignore him all week long every time he tries to talk to me or apologize. But no one knows how hurt I was even less agrees that I'm doing the right thing.

Once I'm done eating I might link all my pack members that I brought with me the to pack their bags because we are headed home in 2 hours. Patterns in mind linking everybody I had to the office. As I'm walking up the stairs I hear someone walking behind me I turn my head to see Raven I roll my eyes and continue to walk. Once I reach the top of the stairs I turn around and give him a glare before turning back around.

I walked down the long hallway to the office but right when I'm about to turn down the hall that goes to the office someone grabs me and pulls me into a room. I trying to see who it is and there it is there he stands or Raven. I sat there and glare at him waiting for him to speak not saying a word.

Listen I've tried telling you I'm sorry but you won't talk to me. You're acting playing ridiculous! Raven yells. This gets me and lace mad we still are an alpha he should not be speaking to us like that. Please let me handle this one. I tell lace. Okay I trust you make him pay. Lace says.

What's I'm done talking to lace I look back at Raven. By his face I can tell he knows he messed up. I look at him with plain anger. I'm acting ridiculous. You may think that now one of these times you're going to feel how I felt when you ran up that door. Most of my life I felt unwanted. My parents hated me up until recently I thought my brother hated me. I say.

When Ace ran away I lost the only brother I thought cared for me. What's worse was that I was punished for his running away I was demoted to an Omega. Just recently I got my title as an alpha back. Here's this I was born in Alpha I am the next in line to be the next moon goddess I am a true Alpha you were born a beta lower in rank you will learn to respect me understood! I yell.

When I finish the last little bit I put Alpha tone in it he got on his knee and put his head down in submission. I tell him it's okay to stand up but he doesn't. He just lifts his head up. I see a few tears roll down his face I get down on my knees and wipe them away. I didn't mean to make him cry I guess I just been holding it a lot of anger lately and just need to let it out.

I'm sorry I shouldn't have yelled at you I should have called you lower in rank. I say as I hug him. I just sat there and let him cry into my shoulder. I feel like an awful mate. I should be here caring for him but instead I'm here yelling at him and ignoring him. I lift him up and we walked to the office where Ace is waiting for us.

It's been a few hours since I had that breakdown and yelled at Raven. Me and my pack are now ready to leave we're all at the front of the pack house. Of course I'm taking Raven with me, he's coming with because he's going to be my beta. We go down the line hugging the friends we made when I finally reach Ace we embrace. You better come and visit now that our parents are in the role of the pack. I tell Ace. We just found each other of course I'm going to come visit but you don't be a stranger yourself. Ace says.

After that said we all get in the cars. Chris and hope take one car and then me and Raven take the other. I get into the driver's seat and wave goodbye as I start the car and drive away. As I'm driving away I can't help but think how nice it was did I got to see my brother again. Not only did I see my brother but met my mate.

We finally made it back to my pack house. Chris and hope get all the bags while I go to the office to talk to Isaac. I can feel Raven following close behind me. As I reached the office I see no one's in there so I just sit down in my chair. Raven comes in not long after me and sits in the chair in front of my desk. I get up and shut the door and then go to the bookshelf. I pulled a book to the secret entrance for the secret hallway not carrying that Ravens behind you.

I walk in and go straight to the secret office. I sit on my desk and point to a chair so Raven can take a seat. I looked through the papers it's on the desk. Some of them being about my dad's trial that was finished a week ago. Isaac must have brought him in here so no one would be known enough to look like the maids we suspect to be a spy for my dad.

Once I'm done going to the pictures I stand up and head to the bedroom door. I knocked three times and it opens and their stands Isaac. Hey bro. I say any just nods and looks behind me with a weird stare. That's when I realized Raven's still following me. Let's go to the kitchen. I say thinking Isaac might not want Raven going into his room. He nods and we go up the staircase to the kitchen.

Once we're there I hug Isaac and here are growl behind me. I turned around and give him the hardest glare I can Master at the moment without laughing. So you're finally back from visiting Ace hey. Isaac says. Yeah I am. I say. so how are you liking the secret kind of house like hallway I asked.

You decorated a great Alex. Thank you for letting me stay in the secret hallway so I don't have to deal with the pack. Isaac says. It's no problem it's got everything you'll need to survive so. Please tell me you did not stay in here the whole time I was gone. I say.

Of course not how would you think I got the papers on your desk I was still in charge of the pack while you were gone duh. Isaac tries to make a joke and I just laugh it off. I go to the fridge I get out some leftover take out and warm it up. Want something warming up the food I give some to Isaac. Then I put some in front of Raven. Then I sit down and eat mine.

Raven and Isaac just continues to stare at each other waiting to be introduced. When Raven starts to growl that's when I flip him in the nose and explain the situation. You will stop your growling you're still in the doghouse and stop growling at my brother. I say. Raven stops growling and puts his head down.

Me and Isaac chitchat about stuff about the pack for a while but then I see the clock and see it's almost midnight. Hey Isaac is the TV room still have the highway bed in it or did you change that out? I asked. No why? Isaac asks. I wants you to keep an eye on Raven at the moment I don't trust him to not run away. I say. So you're going to be having him stay in the TV room? Isaac asks.

Yes that's exactly what I'm planning. That's what you can keep an eye on him and I have easy access and you know the hallway below the kitchen leads my bedroom. So you have easy access to come get me if anything goes wrong. I say. Isaac just nods.

We all stand up and walk down the stairs and out the door to the hallway. We go to the TV room and I sit down on the couch. All right Raven so my brother Isaac is going to be watching you. Imagine he's your bodyguard that won't let you run away. I say to Raven.

I'm not going to run away Alex why do I have to have your brother watching me every step I make. Raven says annoyed. Because I don't trust you yet. So Isaac will show you around the secret hallway and I'm going to bed good night boys. I say and head to the door to the hallway that leads to my room.

I opened the door to my bedroom. I go to the closet to find some pajamas to sleep in. Once I find the pajama set I go to bed.

Hey readers I am so sorry about the late update. I have some things I want to talk to you guys about so here is this author's note.

So first things first is I'm so sorry about the late update I had some writer's block. I'm finally over it so hopefully I'll get some more chapters out sooner than I did this one.

Second I started a new job so I'm kind of trying to balance that with my writing schedule which hasn't been going very well. So I might have to change my plan on my updating schedule. My original plan was like every two weeks but that hasn't been really working out very well. So I'm planning on maybe every month or maybe less.

And third I thought it would be fun to do a small q&a before I go on to write the next chapter but if I don't get any questions then I might not or I'll do questions and I think some people might have about the book.

And finally I just want to let you guys know I'm so sorry about the grammar I'm terrible with Grandma and I'm working on it I promise I just got to find the right app to help me with my grammar and some other things but I am working on it so I'm sorry if it's a little bit hard to understand.
