Shaken to my very core, my eyes grew wide in horror, only to be filled with darkness as I looked at the skies bleeding with divine law. Blood of my fellow brethren had turned to a fine mist that showered my body as a rain fell to Casia, staining my robes the color of wine, a painful pang tugged at my throat.
Twisting my neck towards the skies now filled with Summers glow, tears fell against my will as memories of the war of Demons and Devils flashed. Was this not how it started? Was this not how many fell to those devils?
"You bastard," I muttered, clenching my fist, soaked in my brother's and sister's blood. The soft sound of a symphony suddenly echoed through the horrid gore raining. Breaking my heart with its melody that tugged at the memories of my kin, my throat grew sore. "You bastard," I muttered a little louder.
"YOU BASTARD!!!" I howled, arching my sword, blazing a radiant stary-white flame, cleaving down towards Casia with the intent to sever this planet in half. The world grew slow, and the laws of Sloth touched upon reality.
"One favor after another," The Lord of Sloth muttered lazily, materializing just as my flaming sword cleaved downwards. Carrying the Blade of Beel, said to be molded by the Sixth Layer of Hell, Azeroth parried my sword with ease, deflecting my blade upwards. Still, in his child-like form, his cold, grim eyes, filled with scorn and disgust flashed with such a sinful power, I felt I was like a mortal before a black sun.
A vicious wave of destruction obliviated released from our clash shot towards the army held by the court of Nox. Shredding away their bodies till all that was left was ash, Azeroth, child-like body began to morph. Growing to the size of a large man scales blacker than night, oozing a sinister luster sprung from his flesh. Wings the size of a demonic dragon shot out from his back, casting darkness over the land, as two large horns sharp as a blade and sinister as the hells sprouted.
Standing in his original form, I felt my skin was burning standing next to this Sin, most feared. Azeroth was a genius, a lazy one, but when he was active, the blood of my brethren fell like snow. The amount of life he took was horrendous.
Glaring at the Elder Devil, I barked, "You wish for the war to start now, Azeroth?!"
"You are not alone!" Seraphina roared as Heavens Gate grew from the clouds. Covering the skies with its glow, the Aura of the Silver Gates of Heaven consumed the land, as thousands of my brothers and sister came like a storm.
Regardless, a foreboding glint appeared in my eyes as I stared at the indifference upon Azeroth and the cold smile on Arsene's lips.
Are they working together? No, that cannot be; we were told that devils would not help Arsene unless he delivered my head to the Hells.
Standing without fear upon a Sigil, Arsene's gaze fell off of us and onto the water-stained with Angel's blood. I turned as my heart almost stopped within my chest at the King of Hell, standing with a woman in a misty veil holding a sword that threatened to sever my head; with but a quick glance, I froze at the turbulent Abyssal Essence in the air.
"Lilith," I muttered in horror, turning to Arsene standing with wonder in his eyes. "This cannot be! She is Yura?"
"I am Lilith Snow," The Daughter of Asmodeus declared, carving away my soul of any warmth.
Peering through the veil of mist, Lilith smiled as my heart froze with horror as one of the Horseman Gates appeared.
"No need to worry. This gate is not for you," She addressed with her arms hooked around Asmdous arm. "Although it's a shame none of my bridesmaids can be here. I would have loved to have a normal wedding, but a bloodstained one will be just as good. Isn't that right, Seraphina?"
Turning to my sister, burning with a wave of vengeful anger, I saw the disgust radiating from her. Taken back, I backed off of Azeroth, who had not taken the initiative to strike.
"What is this about?" I asked as she glared at Arsene.
"A video was sent to every major family." She asserted, as the phantom of images of the Founder of the Court of Nox soon began to emerge, alongside an array of endless ships that surrounded the outer perimeter of Alos.
"ARSENE!!!!" The booming voice of an enraged Sulton crackled like lighting as the Aura of Elysium clouded the air. Shaking the stars, with his mighty aura, a vengeful fire burned with hatred. "You are a sick Devil!" he cried, "Even if we lose our support, I swear I will kill you!"
"What happened?" I sharply uttered as Sera clitted her tongue.
"Arsene has been in relations with his brother's fiancee." She muttered in disgust. " Sulton," she added with hesitation. " Who knows what she told that devil. Even if he didn't know, he is now a liability. We cannot trust him."
Gripping my sword tighter, Baphomet, the Beast King, appeared by Azeroth's side, holding his staff, Abaddon in his hand. It slowly morphed into an ax as he smiled savagely when Sera's voice sounded once more, "There is more. There is a prophecy. A prophecy that mentions our downfall." she muttered grimly. "The Courts of Nox and Sulton knew about it. Everyone knew but us. We are without allies in the Bed of Chaos."
The devil crackled with laughter as a horrid realization appeared within my head as Arsene laughed. "Our intel was not wrong. Arsene fulfilled his end. He delivered me to them. This was a trap. All of it was."
"Quite right," Arsene softly said, his eyes never leaving Lilith's. "We just needed to tweak a few things. But everything is according to my design. It doesn't matter what you do, Yael. Once you appeared in Casia, your death was guaranteed. Tell me, now where is your God?" he blatantly mocked.
"This is not over," I coldly said. " We still have the founders here. There is no chance of you surviving this. Not to mention their army here. Even if we are enemies with Nox, so are you. Your death is assured.
He smiled and shrugged, snapping his fingers. A cold mist of fiendish essence flooded Casia as an army of scarlet eyes hummed with a burning sin that appeared behind the altar.
"I can't trust Nox, especially when I am sure Sultan was in league with many of them. I am sure they would attack me even if we were allies. His claws run far too deep for my liking." Said Arsene, calmly carrying a playful smile.
"And Asmodeus?"
"to ensure your death, of course." He said, arching his lips as I narrowed my eyes.
"Then you leave yourself defenseless. There are Angels here. Then there are Devils. It will take all of them to kill me, with the help of my brethren." I coldly said, unafraid of death. "You have let yourself open."
Arsene nodded when Liliths suddenly spoke, "that was why I asked him to change the original plan." She coldly declared as everyone suddenly froze, as a horrid power, far beyond anything I felt before appeared as a man materialized out of the Pale Gate. "Say hello to Gaius Winterblack, the one who will be protecting us today and the Arch enemy of the Court of Nox."
