Chapter 1: Life of the Monarch (Reboot)

"Wake up"

That sound stir me aware from my sleep and I saw my sister Sam looking at me angryly 😡.

"Put on some clothes and get ready if you don't want to be late for the hunter evaluation." She said and left the room.

"..."😐

"She is energetic in the morning" said the blond hair women who is hugging me in the bed.

"Well I can't blame her, it is getting late for me, I have to go to the Fairy tail guild for rank evaluation exam and monitor it."

"Hmm....then why are you moving your lower part" said the beauty while moaning.

We are still connected from the last night activity.

"My brain wants to go work but my soul and heart want to be with you and continue where we left last night"

"As much as I want to continue, I have to go to for a mission with my team" said the blond hair with dejected look 😔.

"How about we take a shower before that" with that we went to shower which lasted for 1 hour for reasons left to your imagination.

After cleaning ourselves, we came downstairs as my room is in the 2nd floor of my house.

I can see my sister hurried to hunters academy after completing the breakfast.

"Have a good day" for which I got a middle finger from her knowing that today will be the written test she suck at.

"So, what do you want for breakfast sue."

"No I'll have to go now, Jhonny is waiting for me near the rift, so another time" with a quick kiss on the lips she went outside of my house.

She went to her car which is parked near my house and drove away.

"Be safe" waiting for her to leave my line of sight, I went to have breakfast.

After finishing my food and spent other 30 mins of getting ready, I went to the car and drove to the Hunter association.

While driving I started to think about my life.

(A/N: Here comes the classic back story of the protagonist)

My name is Mark Anderson, I'm 25 years old guy living with my mother and sister.

My mother Tara is a beautiful women who is currently working as vice-president for the hunter association and my sister Sam is 20 years old who is attending final year in the hunter academy.

This world is called Terra which is a massive combination of land and water just like earth from my past life.

About 50 years ago, gates which are connected to the other worlds opened, monster who humanity saw as stories began to emarge from the gates.

People awakened meta abilities and starts to fight the monsters.

They are called hunters and began riding the gates.

That was called the Era of the Hunters.

Nowadays some people develop their powers around the age of 10 and I can't forget the day my powers awakened.

When I was 10 years old, my family went for a trip and a gate break occurred.

My father died in that break and it is also the time I awakened my powers and memories.

It is also the day I met my first bonded: Susan Storm.

The gates if uncleared for sometime breaks and the monsters in it begins to come outside.

That's what happened at that time. An S rank gate break happened. It wasn't present there in the first place but as quickly as it manifested it broke.

My family and I were seperated in the chaos, I found the little blonde around my age who is also separated from her family.

We hid under a rock for 2 hours for the rescue team to help us.

After sometime, green monsters who looks like goblins found as and attacked and luckily we both awakened at the same time.

Susan Storm as the counter part of her Marvel universe have the similar powers and cast the force field around us.

Meanwhile I have to process the memories from my past life along with the information about my powers.

A status window appeared in front of me.

[Congratulations for becoming the successor of Eternal Monarch]

[Main quest: Absorb the baby celestial sapien powers fully to become the Eternal Monarch.

Description: Because of the choice of the previous eternal monarch, his powers are locked in the form of the baby celestial sapien, absorb them fully to become the next eternal monarch.

I can sense the baby celestial sapien in me, I just have to absorb it's powers with energy manipulation and I'll become eternal monarch AKA Alien x AKA Celestial sapien.

While I'm processing all this information, Sue's situation is not so good.

Since she just awakened her powers she's not good at using them which caused some goblins to enter the force field and they attacked her which resulted in her loosing an arm.

After processing the memories, I looked at Susan and said the command to activate my powers.

Then I can feel the connection between us and looked at the monsters with a wave of my hand I shoot energy beams at them which killed the monsters and we escaped.

Sue casted force field around us and we escaped as silently as possible, which is also difficult as some monsters have good sense of hearing.

After several hours of escaping, we were rescued and I got the news that my father passed away. It took me sometime to come out of the shook.

While I have memories about past life, I still felt sad that my father who I was with for 10 years died.

It took sometime for my family to get back together.

Susan and I became friends, along the road she became my girlfriend and I've to thank whoever reincarnated me for this opportunity to have Susan as the girlfriend and a loving family.

After awakening my powers and memories, I began to see the world differently because it is the combination of animes and movies.

We live in Star City here most of the people are from Marvel universe.

As my thoughts came to an end my car arrived at the gate of hunter association.

I forgot to mention I'm working in the association as a Head of monitoring division for the Rank evaluation exams.

Hunters are ranked form S,A,B,C,D,E from high to low as being an E rank hunters are close to athletes in my past life. There is another rank called Ex rank. Ex rank hunters are capable of destroying an entire continent if they wish.

Since my mother is the vice-president in the hunter association I have it easy here and combined with my powers, I made it to the A rank very quickly but afterwards I stopped caring about the rank and began my focus on absorbing the powers of baby sapien.

While some may think it is better to have a separate guild of my own, let me say that I'm a lazy guy and with my power of reality manipulation I can do almost anything with a simple wave of my hand.

so there is no need to create seperate guild which will only increase my work load.

Being in the H.A (Hunter association) monitoring team is also helps as the main job of my team is to participate in the rank evaluation exam of some guilds assigned to us and report the ranks of the individuals.

With this I can meet different characters who I like as the character and interact with them.

"About time you got here Mr.Anderson" my thoughts come to an end when I heard the voice from my back.

'This is troublesome' I thought like a certain shinobi.

"Hello miss Emma, how's the day" I greet my secretary in this division. Only two of us are in the shift now.

'I wish I got to paired with Cassie instead of her' I complained about the shift paring, but can't do anything about it since Cassie is the leader of other section.

"If you are done complaining about shifts in your mind can we start and move to the island for rank exam, it's getting late and the rift will take sometime to teleport us to the island.

The rift is the way to teleport between to points. It works just like flying thunder god in Naruto, you just have to go to one point of the mark and provide some energy to the point and set the cordinates and you'll be teleported to the location of the given cordinate.

"Yes ma'am" with that we move to the rift.
