Chapter 4 No

After the Liam Nelson show has finished we find a black limo heading in the direction of Mayfair one of the most high end areas of London to live and also the location of the world famous Sotheby's auction house.

In the back of the black limo we fine three people Alexia, Liam and one other woman who is wearing a black business suit with glasses on her face.

If it were not that she was always accompanying Alexia she would be a woman getting all the attention.

Her black hair fell just past her shoulders with brown eyes and she possessed an ample cleavage.

Her name was Jane Ventor and she was Alexia's manger and close friend.

"Well that went better than expected after the fiasco with your film crew Liam" Jane said in a sarcastic tone as she looked at Liam.

"Ha ha what can I say Alexia is just to popular and we all know she can never say no to her fans" Liam replied with a chuckle.

"Indeed it's something I have tried for years to get her to do but she just won't listen to my advice on this" Jane sighed.

"I am right here you know" Alexia responded as she closed her eyes and pinched the bridge of her nose.

Liam and Jane exchanged a worried glance as they looked at Alexia.

"You not sleeping again are you Alexia? Jane asked with clear concern.

"It's fine we know this happens near the end of a long tour, I will be fine once I am on break in a few days". Alexia responded with clear tiredness in her voice.

"This is why I advised you not to accept Gracie's request, your to tired as it is."

Alexia opened her eyes slightly to look at Jane and replied slightly sharply "she is my best friend, as well as your friend for that matter and you want me to refuse her when she never requests anything of me?"

Jane sighed "yes she is my friend but you're my employer and I have a job, part of that job is to make sure you stay fit and healthy, or as close to as possible."

This time it was Alexia who sighed before replying "I know I am sorry I did not mean to snap I am just tired I guess."

Just as she finished speaking they noticed that they were pulling into the underground car park of a multi-story building.

"Finally home let's go see Gracie about tomorrow before I try to get some sleep."

All three excited the limo and made their way towards two elevators.

The two elevators were quite different looking, the one on the left was just plain grey while the one on the right tho still grey had what seemed to be flying birds engraved into it.

As they approached the elevator with engravings Jane took her mobile out of her bag before opening an app and inputting a code.

Soon after the elevator door opened and all three entered.

After the door closed Jane spoke one word "Alexia" and they waited.

After 2 seconds a female voice replied "voice identification confirmed" and the elevator began to rise.

"The security on this elevator still astounds me to this day" Liam replied before sighing.

"What do you expect, we own several security companies so we had to make sure Alexia got the best security with her identity" Jane replied

After a short wait a soft ding was head before the female voice announced "Penthouse" and the doors slowly opened and presented a hallway decorated with expensive looking works of art and wood flooring.

As the three moved into the hallway they began to hear the voice of another two women talking tho one sounded like it came from a speaker.

As they entered what was obviously the living room as it had several large comfortable looking sofas around a large glass table with one side missing a sofa as there was a huge TV on the wall the likes you would normally only find in movie cinemas.

Another wall was occupied by a stain glass window which stretched the entire length and looked out over the city of London.

A third wall had what looked like a small bar with two doors.

The forth and final wall was mainly taken up by a small staircase that led to a upper level.

Sitting on one of the large sofas was a beautiful woman with long blonde hair and grey eyes, her name was Gracie Silver and was Alexia's best friend as well as Jane's friend.

"So Sophie is everything on schedule for tomorrow?" Gracie said to her phone that was resting on the glass table.

"Yes Miss Silver" a response came from the phone.

The decorations are all in place and the food I grew and drink have arrived.

The chefs that have been hired will start work early in the morning on the menu for tomorrow's opening."

"I spoke to Miss Ventor earlier and she informed me that the equipment for Lexi's show will be here early tomorrow morning as well."

"Excellent work Sophie" Gracie replied with a smile.

"And what about that employee who got himself arrested? What was his name again… Joey I believe."

"Joey has already been informed of his termination for breaching his employment contract, as for a replacement Tommy has just contacted me as we were speaking to say the replacement is sorted."

"Fantastic work from both of you, thank you for the hard work Sophie and please pass on my thanks to Tommy."

"Of course Miss Silver this is what you pay us for."

"I suppose it is" Gracie replied with a laugh.

"Ah Alexia has just walked in so I need to go but I will contact you tomorrow morning for an update."

"Very well Miss Silver goodbye"

"Goodbye Sophie"

As the lady leaned over and ended the call she turned to her friends.

"Welcome home you three, i was just checking on tomorrow's opening of Olympus "

"He he Olympus I still can't believe you went with that name so ostentatious" Alexi giggle tiredly s she collapsed onto a sofa.

"Excuse me, I have already explained how the name fits perfectly with the clubs grandeur" Gracie replied sulking slightly.

"Ok ok my bad" Alexia replied

"I watched the show and I must say that you have a rather interesting production crew Liam he he" Gracie said giggling.

Sigh "as I told Jane it's because everyone knows that Alexia just can't say no" Liam replied while turning to Alexia who was leaning back on the couch with her eyes closed.

"Speaking of the show Alexia was everything ok during the interview?"

Alexia opened her eyes to reply "yes everything went fine once the view started, why do you ask Liam?"

"Hmm during the interview when I asked about what's next for you, you answered as per the planned script however I noticed your eyes dulled for a moment."

Gracie and Jane turned their attention to Liam "really did something like that happen? I was not watching at the time and only listening as I was going over tomorrow's opening" Jane responded.

"Indeed, even tho it was only for a moment and I doubt anyone who does not know Alexia would notice it did happen."

"So is there anything bothering you or concerning you Alexia darling?"

As her three friends looked at her with concern on there face's she gave a small smile and a simple reply "no"

"Now I think I will get a warm drink and 'try' to get some sleep" Alexia said as she got up to move towards the kitchen

"Goodnight" the three replied before looking at each other with confusion and concern.
