8 Tests

UA Academy, inside the male locker room.

All the students of Class 1-A were trying on the UA sports uniform, and although they obeyed their teacher's orders, they were unable to understand how this could be their first class at the academy?

They were all expecting that it would be a very normal class in which the academy system, the study method, etc. would be explained to them, or at least they would be introduced to some basic concepts such as the meaning of heroes and villains, heroic tasks, the profession of a hero, etc., but all of this did not happen. Rather, the teacher, Aizawa jumped them directly into the practical lesson, as he asked them to prepare themselves and wear the UA sports uniform. And if this indicates anything, it will be that they'll be sweating on their first day.

Although they all had the same feelings and questions, there were no conversations about this topic between them in the locker room, simply because the silent atmosphere still hung over the students in the class and they still did not get to know each other well.

Blending into the background, Kyouta didn't say anything either, just kept silent until all the students, girls and boys, walked to the sports field where Teacher Aizawa was waiting for them, who said after he saw them in their UA's sports uniforms;

"Good, this clothes suits you, now we can begin."

The students looked at each other, and the same idea was running through their minds, as they wanted one of them to volunteer and ask the teacher about what activity they would do, and the person who volunteered in that case was Kirishima, who asked;

"Excuse me Sensei, what are we going to do?"

After a short silence, Aizawa answered in a calm tone while looking at all the students;

"Instead of starting the school season with boring lessons and explanations of general concepts that you are already familiar with, I would rather start the school season discovering your abilities and checking whether you are fit to be heroes or will you just be a burden on the hero community. Here at UA Academy, teachers have the right to teach the students as they please, that's why you are here now. I will test all of your abilities by taking eight different tests, and of course, you can use your abilities however you want in those tests."

When the students heard the phrase, "You can use your abilities however you want," they smiled and were happy, as they could not contain their feeling of joy. That is why Mina Ashido said;

"We can use our abilities freely?!"

Tenya Ieda added to her speech;

"As expected from UA, the rumors are absolutely true."

Yaoyorozu also spoke in that moment, saying in a calm tone;

"It seems like it would be fun that way."

Kirishima looked at Yaoyorozu and said;

"Not only will it be fun, it will be exciting because we will be competing."

All the students were feeling proud that they had the right to use their abilities freely, except for one person, Midoriya Izuku, who was thinking with a look of worry on his face;

'This is not good at all, I thought I would have more time to train my body and make it able to withstand the One for All ability...'

Kyouta was able to notice that Midoriya was the only one who seemed agitated at that moment, as if he didn't want to take these tests.

There were many students who had calm looks on their faces, such as Todoroki, Bakugo, Tenya-Iida, and Kyouta. But the only person who seemed nervous was Midoriya.

Aizawa moved his eyes left and right, looking at the faces of all the students, then said after a few seconds;

"Fun? That's good, we can agree to make these tests more fun. So what do you think about this? The student who gets last rank in these tests will be expelled!"

The last word spoken by Teacher Aizawa caused the place to become very quiet. None of the students expected things to develop to this degree. For this reason, out of shock, they remained silent for a few seconds, after which, the questions and objections began;

"Expelled? Did you just say expelled?" Mineta.

"This has to be a joke right? Sensei, this is our first day." Sero Hanta.

"I can't believe this..." Mina Ashido.

"Who would have imagined that we would face such a problem on the first day?" Kaminari.

"It seems really exciting. I don't care even if half the students are expelled, because only those who deserve should stand between us." Bakugo.

Bakugo's words were like fuel on the fire, as all the students looked at him, but none of them dared to answer him, because the final decision rested with Teacher Aizawa, who said;

"Why are you so afraid? All I'm asking of you is to avoid getting the last rank. There are 20 people here, if you can't take one of the top 19 ranks, then that means you're just not qualified to become a hero. That's it, we'll start now the first test, which is the short race, Tenya Iida and Bakugo Katsuki, you are the first two competitors in this test..."

When the teacher decided something, there was no one who could object to it. All the students were very worried, but the one who was most terrified among them was Midoriya Izuku.

Kyouta was standing next to the latter, so he was able to see the terror in his green eyes, that's why Kyouta whispered while he was looking at Teacher Aizawa;

"You don't have to be that afraid, just straight up, put a confident look on your face, and repeat the phrase 'I can do it' in your mind."

When Midoriya heard these words, he moved his eyes to look at Kyouta who was calm and not interested in the expel issue in the first place, as he added in a calm tone to his speech;

"Look around you, all the students are nervous, but they are not as terrified as you. Whatever your ability is, it will be enough to make you pass this test without getting expelled. Even if we bring in someone who does not have an ability and has an athletic body, he will not be expelled."

These words helped Midoriya calm himself down a little, and at that same moment, Teacher Aizawa looked at those two and said;

"Midoriya Izuku, Hikari Kyouta, you two will be participating in the second race."
