Chapter 8: Villain Team Wins

"After you change, gather in the Ground Beta."

"Yes sir!" The whole classroom responded.

Kazuki's hero costume wasn't all flashy. Black turtleneck, and a pair of gray baggy pants. On both his wrists are silver bracelets. 'Good this feels comfortable.'

As they walk outside the tunnel. Allmight stood there waiting for them.

"They said the clothes make the man, young men, and ladies. Be fully aware, that from now on, you are heroes!" Allmight added. "That's great everyone. You all look cool! Now shall we begin, you zygotes?"

Everyone was gathered and waited for Allmight's instructions.

"Now listen here." Allmight opened a small notebook. "The situation is that the villains have hidden, a nuclear weapon somewhere in their hideout. The heroes are trying to dispose of that."

"The heroes need to catch the villains or get the nuclear weapon back in the allotted time. The villains need to protect nuclear weapons for the whole time or catch the heroes."

Allmight held a yellow box. "Teams and opponents will be determined by drawing slots!"

Kazuki's partner was Mashirao Ojiro.

The battle started. 

Kazuki stood in the corner, he closed his eyes. He glanced at his side, Shoto stood in front of him. "Hmm?"

"You..." Shoto shakes his head and stands beside him.

The fight between Bakugo and Izuku was finished. It ended in Bakugo's win.

Kazuki glanced at the group, he was next.

"Villain?" Kazuki's teammate was Ojiro, while their opponent was Shoji and Todoroki.

Kazuki and Ojiro stood beside the nuclear weapon. 

"Let's do our best Kazuki," Ojiro said while Kazuki nodded in response.

Kazuki jumped and sat on the nuclear weapon, his legs crossed while he rested his head on his hand. 'Let's just finish this already.'

As expected, Shoto freezed the whole building.

Ojiro's feet iced on the ground. 'T-This quirk is.'

Kazuki quietly sat, the cold didn't bother him at all. 

Footsteps could be heard from outside the door.

Todoroki walked inside. "You can move if you want." A smile appeared on his face. "But the skin on your feet will come off, so you won't be able to fight your best." He said to Ojiro. Todoroki raised his head, looking at Kazuki.

Kazuki raised a smile. He jumped down from the weapon, he clapped his hand once, and wind pressure accumulated from his clap. "Ojiro protect the weapon."

Ojiro who was free from the ice due to Kazuki's help nodded his head and took a step back.

"Ice boy, entertain me will you?" Kazuki had a wide smile on his face. He took a fighting position, he jumped up and down, and disappeared from his spot.

'Where?' Shoto took a fighting position, he moved his eyes trying to find where Kazuki was. 'He's a close combat fighter.' Shoto glanced at his right side, and a blur appeared.

'He's too close.' Shoto immediately created an ice wall and jumped away.

"Oi." Kazuki appeared behind Shoto.

Shoto moved his head, and Kazuki was at his back, Shoto immediately created another ice wall. 'He was aiming for my back.' 

Kazuki reappeared in front of Shoto. "Tch, I can't move much." Kazuki picked up a small rock, his eyes glinted, and he threw the rock on the ceiling.

Boom!

The two upper floors exploded. Slowly debris started raining from the sky. Ojiro was quick, and using his tail he smacked the falling debris away from the nuclear weapon.

'He destroyed two upper floors with a rock?' Shoto was bewildered, the next second he saw a blur in front of him.

"Focus on me Shoto," Kazuki said, his fingers just a few inches away from Shoto's face.

'I-I can't dodge.' Shoto moved his hands, but it was too late. 'He's going to hit me!'

[Beep. Beep]

"Times up! Villain teams win!" Allmight shouted into the microphone.

Kazuki halted his hand. He put his hands in his pockets. "Tch." He turns around and starts walking down the stairs.

'Unprecedented. Young Shoto used his quirk to freeze the whole building, weakening the enemy. But it seems like it didn't even affect young Kazuki.' Allmight raised his brows.

'Powerful, his quirk is powerful, he knows he couldn't move nor use his quirk to his full extent because of the narrow room, so to free up space to fully exert the strength of his quirk he destroyed the two upper floors. Destructive.' Allmight had a wide smile on his face.

"Wow, he just destroyed two upper floors!" Kaminari shouted.

Meanwhile, Katsuki grits his teeth.

Ojiro follows Kazuki. While Shoto stood still, he clenched his hands.

The rest of the matches continue. While Kazuki just sat in the corner, he closed his eyes tiredly.

A few matches later.

"Good work everyone! We didn't have any major injuries other than Young Midoriya. You guys took this seriously! You all did a good job for your first training!" Allmight said.

"Well then, I must review the results with Young Midoriya. Change and return to the classroom!" With those last words, Allmight sprinted leaving the students.

"Allmight's amazing!" Kaminari said.

Ojiro turned his head to Kazuki. "You did awesome Kazuki," Ojiro said.

Kazuki shakes his head. "You did great as well," Kazuki said.

Ojiro rubbed the back of his head. "Well if it weren't for you we wouldn't have won. You did all the fighting haha." Ojiro said.

"No you did a good job protecting the nuclear weapon, if you didn't guard the weapon Mezo Shoji would have taken the chance," Kazuki added.

Ojiro smiled in response. "Thanks."

Kazuki smiled. He followed the others who were all busy chatting with one another. He glanced at Shoto who was in deep thought, Kazuki walked beside him. "You did good."

Shoto glanced at Kazuki and scoffed. "I still lost."

Kazuki raised a smile. "Your reaction was a bit delayed that's why you lost, if you used your right hand you would have won." Of course, what Kazuki said was cap, he wouldn't lose even if Shoto went all out. 

Shoto remained silent. He touched his right hand.
