Marked Zone

"Mr Netero at your service."

'Uhh, this kid.' Jayden said to himself.

"I need your help with something Netero."

"Say what you need Mr Metallic Rogue."

"First of all, stop calling me that. Also, I need a large amount of Energy Orbs." Jayden frowned his face as he spoke, remembering the pain he felt from those projectiles.

"How much?" Netero asked without thinking too much about it.

To him, Jayden was just preparing beforehand for the next one on one fights, the skills they saw him use might have taken most of his energy and he needed to restock to not be left like a sitting duck when he ran out of energy.

"Perhaps like a hundred Evolved Tier Energy Orbs."

The sound of something crashing resounded on the other side, making Jayden furrow his eyebrows.

"Umm... Are you okay? Netero." He asked.

"Yeah, I just fell off my chair, nothing serious." A pained laugh escaped Netero.

Though he acted calm about it, his minds spamming crazy thoughts. 'HUNDRED EVOLVED TIER ENERGY ORBS!!! FUUUCCCKKK!!! I didn't know it was that much, How does he even keep up with his energy consumption? Did he use that much when practicing the skill? How many Energy Orbs did he waste just to perfect the skill? Deep breaths Netero, just take deep breaths.'

"Soooo, you said a hundred right? Unfortunately, I don't have access to a large stash of Energy Orbs, the few that I get are used almost immediately, at most, I can get you ten if I 'TAKE' some." Netero emphasized on the 'TAKE' to let Jayden understand what he meant.

"Don't ''TAKE' some' Netero, I don't want you to get into trouble for something this trivial, our partnership has barely started and I don't want it to end so soon with you loosing your postion, or worse, dying."

'Prick!! I actually thought you cared about me, you just want to benefit from our partnership.' Netero cursed in his mind.

"Is there any other way? It's really important that I get those Energy Orbs in a few days." Nahshon had explained to him that the longer it took for Draven to get raw energy, the lower the chances of him surviving. At most, he will survive for a week before he dies a painful death, and this pushed Jayden into contacting Netero.

"The only way right now is to hunt for Beasts on the planet, or you buy them."

'I'll cancel buying them from my options, I don't have enough credits to get them all, hell I don't even have enough to get a single Energy Orb. I'll have to hunt for Beast, but where?'

"Netero."

"Sir."

"How do I hunt for beasts on the planet, are there hunting grounds?"

"There are beasts lurking everywhere on the planet except the Marked Zone, but the authorities let them be to make the citizens stay within the Marked Zone. Though there are those who go out sometimes to relieve their stress and anger by, you know ....killing something." Netero shuddered at his own statement as a memory resurfaced in his mind.

"I see, so how can I get through the Marked Zone without being noticed." Jayden asked with a serious face, he was going to get those Energy Orbs no matter what, but first, he needed a plan to let him get through to the other side and come back safely without being noticed.

"Uhh ....you just walk through."

"Huhh?"

"You just walk through, there are no surveillance cameras or guards or killer drones watching the edges of the Marked Zone. Anyone can go in and out, anytime."

"..." Jayden stared, dumbfounded by what he just heard.

There was nothing guarding the edges, it was then that he remembered when they first touched down on the planet and made their way towards the Marked Zone, then, he didn't know anything about the planet and was shocked when he saw the teachers walk through a barrier of illusion energy.

'This makes things easier, but I just need to find a perfect excuse to leave the hotel and come back when I want. If I left for more than a day, the teachers will know something's up and will report to the principal immediately.'

"Thank you Netero, that's all for now."

"You're welcome Mr Metallic Rogue." Netero's excited voice drifted into his ears.

"Dammit, I told you to sto..."

CLACK!!

Jayden was cut off by Netero before he could curse at him. "I'll definitely punch him when I meet him again."

Jayden got up and requested Nahshon to open the Void Space, as soon as the spatial tear was complete, a wave of blistering heat blew Jayden, but the Rogue Suit managed to negate the heat.

He jumped through the tear when he saw that the room was getting hotter by the second, if he let the room bathe in the heat any longer, then it would be up in flames.

Jayden landed on the black floor and sniffed the air, he didn't understand how, but he could breath perfectly well, even though there were no openings in the Rogue Suit. He ignored this and checked out the damage done in the Void Space.

There was no damage done to Void Space itself, the black ground was just the same as it was, but was littered with ashes, metals that were still in the process of melting and some bone fragments that were spread unevenly around.

Jayden sighed. "I hope I don't have to clean this."

[I can recommended some brooms to you that can handle extreme heat, they will do just fine in helping you clean up]

"You bastard, just wait till I get you, I swear I'll..."

[You can not touch me]

Jayden gritted his teeth and ignored Nahshon's remarks. He stared around at the space around him and noticed that even the air still had smoke and evaporated blood swirling around with no way to escape.

Jayden walked into the distance and saw the cocoon swirling with a black, grey and dark red energy, just like Nahshon said.

He placed his hands on it, knowing that it couldn't hurt him. "Don't worry Draven, I'll be back for you with what you need."
