Derek bent backward till his back touched the ground as three bullets swooshed past his bare torso. He flipped back to his feet, threw his western dagger, and jumped. Vanishing mid-air and appeared a few meters away from Angel, but she was prepared as the muzzle flashed with blue, causing him to vanish.
Appearing at her back didn't work either, as Angel was good, really good, so good that Derek felt angry and proud.
He was angry because he was being affected by her precision and was proud to have a lover like her. Her strength pushed him to be better. Angel's precision began to falter when Derek's movement changed. His eyes were closed, but his teleporting speed increased.
Derek immersed himself in the memories of the night two days ago, when in his silver state, both his martial arts and teleporting technique took a different turn. he dislikes staying passive, but when needed, he does stay passive, but only for a little while.
