To survive
Sam saw Rodney, nicknamed Rod. tap his right thigh and a compact space opened at the side, revealing the lectro battery. The brother of lectro bullets. The laser gun uses a kind of battery that is like a magazine.
The sky above them was covered with raging bats. Even killing a good number did not deter them. "What did we do to these bats!" Rod yelled as he hid behind Sam whilst reloading his blaster. He could hear the sounds of Sam fighting against bats that came after them. The sounds of his blade tearing the air slithered into his ear along with pain-filled screeches.
"Done" he mused and exhaled. Suddenly, Sam flew past him and landed on the ground. Rod didn't need to think about it to know Sam had been overpowered.
With a quick turn, the sight of three bats rushing towards him or, to be specific; Sam. Pu! Pu! Pu!
