Inner Turmoil
Standing outside the headquarters, he stared at the sky with a melancholy gaze. The dark skies matched his current thoughts.
Derek couldn't subdue the urge to know more. This was the first time he had a flashback without submerging into a rage or forgetting it right after.
He raised his hands and rubbed his hair. As his palms scattered his raven hair, some strands of silver appeared.
Unknown to him, his physique slowly left the boundaries of being a human to that of his primary race.
With a turbulent mind, he began walking. He ignored the gaze and calls from other hunters, some calling him to join their group on a mission, whilst others were girls stunned to see a man with such looks, wearing a dampening expression.
He stared into the water, and his rippling image formed on its surface. After an unknown time, Derek found himself in a monorail.
