Hidden plot
While Derek enjoyed catching up with his old friend, finding Daniel was his top priority. After exchanging contacts, Gavin chuckled. "We'll talk later bud, I got work to do"
Derek nodded and turned. After three hours of sweeping through unknown districts, Derek did not even catch a glimpse of Daniel.
The receptionists eyeing him were stunned to see Derek storm into the hotel with a gloomy face. Without as much as a glance at anyone, he made his way to the elevator and joined others inside.
A few people dropped before he reached his floor. The elevator door opened with a ding and Derek took two steps before he sighted Daniel crouched before the door to his suite. The cheetah's fur couldn't be messier, and Derek's hard gaze made Daniel stand up. In his small form, he looked like a small cat that was afraid after it knew it had done something wrong.
Taking a few steps back, the kid watched as Derek made his way toward him. "Where did you go?"
