A smile appeared on her lips when she saw Amelia, who also lay in a pod that was positioned vertically and standing directly opposite her. Amelia's expression brought a smile to her face, but it also made her worried.
She might not be there to watch Amelia's back, and her recklessness worried her. "Behave," Angel's tone left no room for arguments and Amelia's response was a smile gracing on her lips.
The sound of the door opening made them tilt their heads in the direction of the door. Emerging from the door were three women, clad in white, who began attending to the pods before theirs.
When they were done, the pod would seal and they would proceed to the next pod. In three minutes, one came before Angel. It was her turn.
The woman injected a green liquid into a spot on the pod, and it closed. Angel could feel her eyelids getting heavy and her mind clouded. Struggling wasn't of any help as she fell into slumber.
