Arrival of reinforcements
After a few hours of struggle, Roland's face had reached the limit of being grim. He had watched tens of his men succumb to the spikes of the nightmares, but he expected fewer losses now that they had left the confines of the city, and the place was more wrecked than when they arrived.
Numerous buildings had fallen, making the place more desolate.
His men were already void of strength, but their will kept pushing them. There was no way they would give up, especially when there were reinforcements currently making their way over.
The recoil from the gun made Roland tremble a little. He had pulled out the Gatling gun from the stand and this gun wasn't the type meant to be carried, but Roland defied that and hit the trigger.
The barrel rotated and spilled out bullets. The recoil had made him stagger at first, but now it only caused him to tremble.
