Chapter Seventy-Two

" Have any one seen Mitchell around? Have search the whole house but there seems to be no traces of her." Barrett sighed and rubbed on his face.

" Her bottle is gone also." He added, his face filled with emotions.

" She probably took her bottle and never came back." Samael said, with a smile on his face for the first time.

" That's unlike her." Sharon said worriedly.

" Mitchell is not a baby, she probably went somewhere to take a nap and avoid questions from us; you all know her and her nasty behavior; it's a thing that she can do." Samael said, the last thing he wanted was to worry about that bitch when today was supposed to be one of the happiest day to him.

" Mitchell case aside, cos am sure she will return home; I can imagine the look on her face when she find out that we did this without her. Don't you think we all need to celebrate our huge success?" Frederic asked and Samael lips widened with a smile.

" We just got ourselves a huge rock of Painite!" Samael bragged, with the smile still plastered on his face.

He stand up and open the cover of the large box in front of him; inside the box was a huge Painite stone.

" But unfortunately, it's too small to cover up for all of us here." Sharon cuts in.

Samael's lips which were about to tell a tale of victory fell apart.

" But it still a green flag, though after this there were no more Painite on that piece of land we dug, but it's an assurance that more are coming."

Aiden said, trying to reassure everyone.

" Yes! We are breaking grounds!" Charlotte hoots.

" We should probably inform the boss now." Jason suggested.

" No yet, not until we have two of that huge rock am not making any calls."

Samael declares, his face frown at Jason for bringing up that topic. He have no plans to call the boss, he plans to have two or more before reporting the two to the boss and keep one for himself.

" About Mitchell?" Barrett said worriedly, his mind doesn't seem at rest; he feels something wrong somewhere.

" Seriously Barrett; even back in the city, if you want to report a missing person you need to wait for 24 hours. And if you are that worried about her, go out there and search for her!" Samael yelled.

" Let just celebrate, she will come home." Sharon said, tapping Barrett on the shoulder softly.
