Chapter Seventy-Three

" seriously Samael you need to make that call, Mitchell has been missing for the past five days and you are just going to sit here as the team leader and feel it's alright?"

Sharon asked Samael,that was sitting on a sofa with Charlotte;their legs entwine as they chat away.

Immediately they saw Sharon brag out of her room with questions and accusations, fuming in anger;they quickly separated their entwined legs and Charlotte sat upright;but Sharon is not stupid not to take notice of that.

"I already said this before hand,if you wander alone it is at your own risk;and Mitchell took the risk herself."Samael replied seriously,but trying not to raise his voice at her.

"Really?So the risk is not checking on a team mate that has gone missing for five days?You kept on reciting that Mitchell is a nasty girl and will come home but she never did."Sharon said.

Her eyes bright and the initial fear were no longer visible.

"She probably ran away?"Charlotte suggested, trying to take sides with Samael.

"What are you saying Charlotte? If she really ran away,did any of your foodstuffs get missing?or her belongings that lie in the room untouched,still the same way she left it five days ago!"

"How do you think she was going to survive in this abandoned island without shelter; she can't leave this place."

"I understand Sharon but you need to calm down."Samael told her softly,but she wasn't ready to listen.

She was tired of everyone acting like they are okay with Samael truancy.

"Don't tell me to calm down!We are talking about a whole human being not some pet!"

"Do you think the prodigal son in bible would have left home if there was no penny on him ?"She raised her voice at Samael.

Drawing the attention of everyone towards the living room.

"Don't you think about Barrett,that goes out everyday to look for her;the only thing you know is to sit here and worry about the fucking useless Painite that can't buy a life !"she added to her screams.

"She is right Samael!we all have been keeping quiet about Michell all this while;Is either you make that call or consider yourself gone too."Aiden threatened him with a mean voice he never used.

"Fine!I will make the call"Samael replied angrily and match to get the box phone.
