Chapter Ninety-Six

Later in the night, Sharon took Aiden to the lakeside,she was determined to tell him about the dirty of her life,he deserves to know them.

She had kept the truth from him through out their years of courtship,due to the fear that he wouldn't love her anymore and will try to call off the wedding.

She wanted to wait till the vows were called then he won't be able to go back,but she has to talk now in a short period of a week two people died;she needs to clear her chest in case she don't make it out alive.

"Sharon I have something to say."

Aiden said, cutting in before she said a word.

"Let hear yours before I say mine."She said,still afraid of how to say it.

"I kept a secret from you,I wanted to tell you after marriage but i think now would be the best chance."He smiled

"yeah"she manage to say,a lot of things running in her head.

"I lied to you Sharon,I told you I don't have a father while I had one."

Sharon panicked instantly;

"This was a bad idea,I should have said my first."

"Aiden wait........"

"My father is Mr Walter."He said cutting in her words. Sharon just stare at him not in Surprise but in fear.

"My mother wasn't his legal wife,she was some sort of mistress;so he failed to acknowledge that I was his child."

"He chased my mother away like a dog,not until I was ten;he just came back into our lives trying to claim me back, showering me with gifts, money and love."

"It wasn't long before I found out that he was doing all of this because he was impotent and I was the only child he managed to birth,after series of test he believe I was his child.

But I still hate him because of the pain and tears he cost my mother, that is why I never acknowledge him as my father till date. But I had to work in his company and receive allowance from him,cos that was my mom wish;she had always wanted us back as a family."He smirk at the thought of the memories.

"But you are Benjamin Aiden."

"That's my mom surname,I promised myself not to use his surname as I never acknowledge him as my father. I never told you because the matter was sort of complicated,I don't know how to tell you such."He smile wiping his eyes due to tears that had clouded his eyes.

"Your turn."He said

"I.......I... don't....."she stammered,her hands shaking in fear,she doesn't know how to say it.

" I know what you want to say."

" What?" She asked popping out her eyes.

" The fact that you dated Jason during your high school days; he told me about it along time ago, that was the secret that I always refer to and pest you to tell me."

" No not that, the fact that I slept with your father."
