Chapter Ninety-Seven

Aiden stared at her in shock,trying to digest in her words;the world around him suddenly began to crumble,all of his body out of function;his head in a mess.

His breathing got restrained in no time,he held his hand over his mouth; feeling suffocated all of a sudden.

"Am sorry!"Sharon teary voice echoed in his ears. it was like he wasn't the one standing there anymore,he called himself back into order and managed to ask;

"How did it happened?"

"I swear that time I never knew he was your father,if I know I won't have......"she said,tears flowing out of her eyes willingly.

"How did it happened Sharon!"He yelled, losing control of himself

"It happened a long time ago,I needed money for my mum's operation and schooling;if not she was going to die and leave me and my younger sister alone to Carter for ourselves. I had no choice,I took a bartender job In a club;around that time I did a lot of menial job. I was attending to customer that time in the night."Sharon cried,her voice rang through her head as her tears poured down her face

"That was when I met your father,he offered me a lot of money to have a night stand with him,I don't have a choice then I needed that money to set things straight in my messy life. so I took the money and..."

She slowly slumped on the floor, wailing her balls out.

"So you slept with my father just for the money?"Aiden asked in pain,his heart scattered into pieces.

"Am sorry. I never knew he was your father, when I found out;I tried to stay away from you but it was too late we were already in love with each other."

"Was he the one who disVirgin you?"He asked, hoping she would say no.

"Yes, am sorry"She said admist her heavy tears.

"Argghhh!!!"Aiden yelled, pulling his own hair.

"Why are you telling me this now?"He asked.

Sharon kept mute,she just kept on crying;she doesn't know what would become of her fate now,but one thing was certain;he is not going to love her the same.

"Aiden...I am truly sorry....I love you"she muttered, trying to reach for his hands after she stood up from the floor.

But Aiden moved his hands away, and she tries to touch him again but he wiped her hands away in so much pain.

"Don't touch me with that your filthy hands!"He snapped at her in anger,he held rage in his eyes.

"From this day henceforth, it is over between us. Don't show up in front of me ever again in your life!"He said and walk out of her in tears.
